[Rob's POV]
I groan, slowly opening my eyes and taking in my surroundings. I'm laying on a bed made of leaves in what appears to be a cave. The familiar aroma of my territory surrounds me. Rose stares at me, a kind look shining in her eyes.
"Ah, you're awake." She says.
"What happened?" I ask her.
"You passed out after the recent battle, and a fox brought you to me. They're waiting outside." She explains.
"Am I free to leave?"
"Yes. You seem to have healed enough for now. However, if you have any sudden pains, please come see me, alright?" She says.
"I will, don't worry Rose." I say, getting up and padding out of the medicine den. Turning my head to the left, I see a fox.
"Ah, you must be the fox that saved me. Thank you." I say to them. The fox turns to look at me, bowing as a sign of respect.
The fox smiles at me, causing me to smile back. I take this as a time to take in their appearance.
The fox's fur was a snowy white color, their eyes a beautiful amber that shone like a lone campfire on a beautiful starry night. The tips of their ears were an orange color that faded to a dark crimson color at the very tips. Their legs and tail were the same as the tips of their ears; a gorgeous orange that faded into a dark crimson color at their paws and the tip of their tail- or should I say tails. The fox had two tails, which was something I had never seen before.
"You are gorgeous." I blurted out. Realizing what I just said, I blushed. The fox had also blushed, their blush sticking out due to their white fur.
"I am so sorry! I just blurted that out..." I apologize. The fox simply smiled at me and waved it off with a flick of their tails, showing me that it was alright.
Suddenly, I had realized something- or rather, two things. The first is that I never got the foxes' name, and the second being that the fox hasn't spoken a word to me.
"Hey... pardon me for asking, but... can you speak? You haven't spoken a word. Also, I never got your name."
The fox looks up at me, shaking their head "no" to my question. The fox turns away from me, padding off. After a few moments, they turn to look at me, their head tilted to the side and their two tails flicking in their direction. Taking this as a sign to follow them, I padded after them as they headed into the forest.
My eye's widened, realizing where they had taken me. They had taken me to the tree where my mother's grave was. The fox turned to look at me.
"R-Rob?...." The fox said, their voice rough and shaky.
Realization soon set in.
"Preston?!....."

Ayeeeee! Look who updated!
Originally, the reason this was being held back was because I wanted to draw a picture to describe what the fox (who is now known as Preston) looked like due to me being horrible at describing things. Today, I decided "fudge this!" and deleted the picture and decided to just go with the flow.
I will be making another picture, but at a later date due to the fact that I've never drawn a fox before.
Also, speaking of art.... feel free to make fan art! If you have a DeviantArt, just tag me in the description of it, or make a book on Wattpad and put it there and tag me in it! Here's my DeviantArt in case you didn't know what it was (also if you go on my profile it should be there in the little descripion thingy):
https://nanobyter.deviantart.com/
So, yeah! Fan art would be pretty cool (Of course, you don't have to if you don't want to! I'm simply putting the idea out there)
Anyways, peace out Technos, and as always-
Stay classy!
