Stella Veros
Telling my parents about my dream was quite challenging. My mom knew about it all along while my dad still clueless about it. My dad didn't agree that I will leave Veros for good and go to Medical school.
We fought.
We had been in a cold war for more than a week now. My dad really oppose the idea. My mom tried to talk to him but it was useless. They ended up fighting too.
"So your parents still mad about you wanting to go medical school?" Nat asked
"Yeah, they hate the idea"
"Talk to them again.. you can't have this cold war for weeks" Dean said
"I tried"
"Ask Axel to talk to him" Nat said
"Are you nuts? This is my family matters.. he can't butt in like that"
"You're going to get married to him. He will be a part of your family at some point" Nat said in a 'duh' tone.
Suddenly my phone rang and I took it out from my bag. I smiled widely to see Axel's name on the screen. I walked out from the restaurant to pick the call up.
"Hey babe" He said
"Hey.."
"I miss you" He said and I heard a lot of teasing sounds on the background
"I miss you too.. How's Brazil?"
"Good.. you look beautiful today" He stated and I looked around
"You're back? Don't tell me you're outside" I started to scanned my eyes around me
"I can tell.. I don't need to see you to prove that"
"I thought you're here already!" I hissed
"I'll be home tonight, you miss me that much?" He chuckled
"Of course, you're there for almost 9 days"
"I'm sorry, I'll make it up to you later on"
"I'll love that"
"So how's your parents?"
"Still being cold, they will understand about it in time. Don't worry" I said
"Turn to the right" He stated and I turned my head to the right. My eyes widen. I ran to Axel and hugged him tightly.
"You always like this" I said and he chuckled. He hugged me tightly and kissed the side of my head.
"I miss you so much" I said as I buried my head to his chest inhailing his scent.
"Me too.. so what are you doing here?" He asked and I looked up to him
"Meet up with Nat and Dean"
"Dean?" He hates him.
"Don't be jealous.. he has a girlfriend back in Sydney"
"You still want to hang out with them or you want to go with me?" I raised my eyebrows
