"Can I Love You?" [Boku No Hero Academia Yaoi]

Friend or Foe?

The day started with normal classes. When all the morning lessons were over, it was time for lunch. Usually, I eat lunch with Uraraka and Iida. Today that was not the case. Before I could even get out of my chair, Koneko was looming over me. 

I didn't make eye contact even though I knew he was staring. I started to panic. I cool sweat dripped from my forehead to my cheek. I continued to put my notebook in my bag and close my textbook, acting like he wasn't even there. 

"So your names Midoriya..." He said in a sarcastic tone. I looked in his direction still not making complete eye contact. I couldn't bring myself to look at his face after what had happened. Another drop of sweat went down my face. 

"Y -Yeah i -its Midoriya, Izuku Midoriya". My words came out shaky and I knew he could tell I was nervous. He introduced himself again, "My names Koneko Akiyama. Let's eat lunch together!" He exclaimed with a big grin on his face. 

This wasn't your normal type of grin. This was an evil grin. It was the grin Kacchan used in middle school before beating me up in some corner. I recognized it anywhere. Although, I didn't really have a choice of saying no since he was new and he needed to be shown around. 

"O -ok," I said, my voice still shaking. Koneko grabbed me by the hand and led me out of the room. From out the corner of my eye, I could see Kacchan with another angry expression, scowling towards me and Koneko from his seat near the window.

Koneko and I sat in the lunchroom eating until the period was over. We had asked each other random questions like 'what we like do do in our free time' and 'how many siblings do you have'. It turns out me and Koneko had a lot in common and I quickly forgot about him kissing me the night before. 

It was a mistake to let my guard down. The "hero training" part of school was up next. Our exercise was to climb a rock wall in the training facility without falling. I guess this was training to practice walking up city buildings to save people if it ever came to that. 

I did my best, but every attempt ended in failure. I didn't want to use my quirk and risk breaking my legs. As always, Todoroki and Kacchan excelled in the exercise leaving everyone in their dust. 

Today was different though, a flash of light went straight up the rock wall leaving a trail of fire behind it. It quickly passed Todoroki and Kacchan and made its way to the top of the wall. There it stopped and a person came into focus. 

"KONEKO!?!?" the class all seemed the shout in unison. Everyone was shocked, including me. "WHAT THE HELL!!!" I heard Kacchan shout, as he made his way to the top with his explosion quirk being used as a booster. 

Eraserhead announced that class was over and everyone made their way down the rock wall except me, who was already at the bottom. Everyone was leaving the training facility and going to the locker rooms to change back into their uniforms.

I started to head back too when I heard Koneko call my name. I turned around to see him still standing at the bottom of the rock wall. I wondered what he wanted since class was already over. 

Kacchan also stayed back when Koneko called me, which was strange because he would usually walk back with the red and bright blond haired students from our class. All of a sudden, Koneko ran to me in a dash. 

Confused, I stayed there as he ran towards me. At that moment I remembered the park incident. Unfortunately, my realization was late and his lips were on mine before I had any time to react. I struggled trying to push him off, I shoved my hands betweens us, pushing at his chest but his embrace was too strong.

I couldn't break free. My face was turning red and I couldn't breathe. "BOOM" I quick explosion ended it all in a flash. Koneko toppled to the ground covering his face with his hand in pain. I turned around to see Kacchan with an enraged look on his face. His hands popping with explosion noises. 

You could tell he was pissed. His eyes now turned toward me. Kacchan grabbed me by the arm and dragged me out of the training facility. Koneko still lying on the ground behind us. I staggered behind Kacchan as he pulled me down the hallway of the locker room and threw me into an empty room. I toppled to the ground. I heard a 'click' behind him signaling that he had locked the door behind him.....
