Sapphire woke up to the sun on her face through the window. She stood and stretched, then glanced to the couch to find Blitz sound asleep.

'I should probably not let her come with. I don't want her to get hurt anymore. And besides, this is something I need to do. She should be fine, right?' Sapphire thought.

'In my opinion, I don't think it fair to just leave her here. I know she is healed now and all, but still, it is the Everfree.' Ruby stated.

'Very true. But hopefully she will just stay here until I return. I'll leave a note.' Sapphire nodded, then took to her room.

After she placed the note on the front door, she quietly gathered all of her items then slid out the door, locking it behind her.

She made her way to ponyville, then to Petal's house. When she opened the door, petal looked surprised.

"Oh. Hi. Didn't expect you this early. What do ya need?" She asked, still tired.

"I need to get a train ticket, could you help?" Sapphire asked.

"Yes, sure thing." Petal smiled. "This should cover it. And here is some extra for when you get to where you need to go. But please do come back sometime." She said as she handed her a smaller bag of bits, then a larger bag of bits.

"I won't be gone for too long. I just need enough for a ticket here and there." Sapphire smiled.

"You sure? You could get hungry." Petal asked.

"I am sure."

"Well... Then I am giving them to you as a gift."

Sapphire's eyes widened. "N-no, really, it's okay, I don't need-"

"I'm not taking them back." Petal raised an eyebrow.

Sapphire sighed and took the bits, setting them in the saddlebags. "Thank you." She said.

"Anything to help." Petal smiled.

"Bye, Petal." Sapphire said, waving as she started to walk away.

"See ya later." Petal nodded.

Sapphire had made it halfway to the station before stopping. Her eyes widened as they locked with another pony. She didn't know what to say. This pony had been there that night. She was supposed to be her friend.

"S-Sapphire!?" The pony asked, her green eyes widened, highlighted by her yellow mane. "Y-you're alive?" She asked, obviously shocked.

Sapphire stared on, insulted by this ponies words. "Yes, I am in fact alive. No thanks to you." She glared hard at this pony, whose ears went back and she looked to the ground.

The pony seemed to cringe when Sapphire glared, but Sapphire was not prepared for what came next.

"I... I'm sorry... I was afraid." She stated.

Sapphire stopped, her heart thumped hard and she felt weak. This pony who had shoved her that night. The pony who seemed to mock her was apologizing.

"I..." sapphire stuttered. "I don't... Don't know what to say. Wether to be happy or furious." Sapphire said, rather breathlessly.

"Please. I was a coward and didn't want to be banished. I have missed you a lot. Please forgive me." She pleaded, going as far as to kneel.

She was different. She was not the pony she was before. No, she certainly more mature. And she seemed to be speaking genuinely.

Sapphire looked to the aquamarine pony, then sighed. "Alright, Daisy. But you have some making up to do." She said.

"I understand." Daisy said. "That is to be expected."
