Chapter 5. I Like Optimus Prime.
•Arabella P.O.V•
After getting a drive home from Everett, I open the front door. Kicking off my shoes, I throw my bag down bedside them "Mom?" I call out.
"In here." I hear her shout from the kitchen. I walk in to see mom sitting at the counter, rubbing her temples.
I frown at the sight, she usually never showed if she was stressed "Whats wrong?" I ask, concerned on why she's acting like this.
She sighs, letting her hands fall onto the counter top where there were papers scattered around. Her cell phone was close by, like she was waiting for a call of some sort.
"Mr. Hilson wants you at the hospital tonight." She says, her voice held no emotion and it was kind of disturbing to me.
I analyse my mother as she looks down at her folded hands. Her short blonde hair is clipped back, she most likely got back from town.
My head automatically snaps over to her, my full attention on her "What?" I blurt out, confused.
Why would I have to go in tonight? I don't really want to miss any school since I had just started.
She looks at me "He wants you from now til Monday." She states. Til Monday? I know I'm lovable but I don't really think I need to be in there that long.
"He wants to run some test while your sleeping." She adds on, well that doesn't sound just a tad creepy.
Ugh, this sucks. I'm going to be hooked up to a machine for like four days and three nights. And the beeping sounds just really grinds my gears, its so annoying.
Its like your about to fall into a peaceful sleep and then bam, it just so happens to start beeping and then the nurse has to come in and do my vitals and check my blood pressure.
I nod in my moms direction and drag myself upstairs, once I get to my room I close the door behind me and collapse onto my fluffy bed.
My hair use to be bright blonde, not this dead looking dark color, I was once genuinely happy. I remember my mom even sent me to this dance camp. I met a girl there, she was a year younger than me. Her names was Haven and just like her name, she was very unique.
I was suppose to go back, but then after that accident I didn't want to do any dancing. I couldn't.
"I want my mom." I cry out, rocking back and forth on the floor. My legs were tied together, my hands duct taped behind my back.
His evil laugh fills the dark, cold room. I feel more tears escape when he shakes his head "You're never going to see your mommy again." His voice held no emotion and it was almost, taunting.
Sobs rack through my body, my feet were bare and bruises covered every inch of my body. Blood dripped down my arms and legs from small cuts he had caused.
My body goes completely still when I hear sirens, and it seems that they right outside of wherever we are. I think its an abandoned warehouse, but I'm not quite sure.
"Steven Paul, we know your in there." They shouted, there was banging on the door and I knew they were going to bust it right open.
Steven, also know as the guy who kidnapped me must have realised this because he looks over at me quickly.
He grabs me, forcing me to my feet, I was facing the door that had just smashed open. He on the other hand was behind me. I feel him shift and I knew something was wrong.
