Chapter 13. Purple Hair For Days

•Arabella P.O.V

I grab my head when it starts to throb from pain. What the heck?

That's when I realize my settings. I'm in a bath tub, wearing a paint covered long dress. I slowly get up and walk towards the mirror that hangs over the sink.

What I see though, is not what I was expecting.

I let out a small scream when I see my hair from my shoulders down is dyed purple. My hair is PURPLE. Holy crap, I'm so dead.

I leave the bathroom and open up the first door I see. Hudson lays in a pile of ball pit balls. I kick his foot, causing him to wake up.

I ask where a shower was and he gives me the directions. Once I find the room, I lock the door behind me and slip off my clothes.

I look around the bathroom before jumping into the steaming hot water, there was a clock above the sink. The time showed 5:30am.

~9 hours before~

"You look hot." Miranda comments once I find her with everyone else. I look down to my outfit, all I was wearing was white jean shorts and a red crop top.

I shrug my shoulders and shiver when I feel my hair brush my skin. I move around them and grab a red solo cup, chugging it quickly.

These random teenagers making me extremely nervous.

I don't know how many drinks I've had, but all I know is, I feel fantastic. The blue paint covers my hand as I place it on the blue circle. My foot is covered with red.

The green dress I changed into after spilling drinks all over me is also covered in paint. Miranda's hand goes under my stomach as she places it in the yellow paint, over the yellow circle.

Worst Mistake of my life, never and I mean ever play Messy Twister. Its basically just twister, but with paint over the same coloured circles. Whose brilliant idea? Hudson's of course.

We all fall, crushing Hudson as his face goes into the red paint. That's when we finally give up on the game. I look over to Everett as he watches us in amusement. I look over to the now empty karaoke place.

I jump up, grabbing Everett's hand in mine and drag him over to the mini stage. I nod my head to the lyrics that are about to appear on the TV screen. I smile when it starts playing one of my favourites.

Everett sighs but sings the lyrics that play on the screen.

You were working as a waitress in a cocktail bar, when I met you. I picked you out, I shook you up and turned you into someone new.

Now five years later you've got the world at your feet. Success has been so easy for you. But don't forget its me who put you where you are now, And I can put you back down too.

He sings out perfectly, I almost forgot about the chorus but i snap out of it just in time. Thank god this is this up beat version.

I jump and twirl while singing, Everett just watches me and sings with his angel voice. I grab the microphone dramatically and start singing.

I was working as a waitress in a cocktail bar, that much is true. But even then I knew I'd find a much better place Either with or without you.

The five years we have had have been such good at times. I still love you, But now I think its time I live my life on my own. I guess its what I must do.

We start to sing the chorus again and that's when I realize we've gained a crowed. Miranda stands in the middle fist pumping the air and jumping up and down.
