Later Drew and I go out to the beach. I am in my red bikini that my mother got for me a year ago, it still fits. We’re collecting sea shells and sand dollars. The water is pretty cold, but we get in eventually. Right when we got in the cool rigid water, we start kissing again and it feels so right.
“You getting hungry?” asks Drew as we’re getting out of the water.
“A little.”
“Well I know a place down the street where there’s tons of shops and restaurants where we can go.”
“Yeah that sounds great!” I reply.
We head back to the house to go get dressed. I don’t know what to wear I have enough to wear but this is a girl problem that no guy understands: no matter how much you have to wear, you always say I have nothing to wear, and start freaking out because, oh my God there’s nothing to actually freaking wear!
I finally found an outfit to wear. A yellow gown cut short that matches my blonde hair and my green eyes perfectly. Once I get dressed and get out of the bathroom Drew looks at me with awe. He comes up to me and rubs my cheek with his thumb.
“ You, Ms. Rae are the most beautiful lady in the whole wide world.”
“ Thank you," I smile at him.
“ You know red lipstick would look really good with that outfit.”
I take the suggestion. One moment later I come out with mascara and red lipstick on.
“You look gorgeous, not that you weren’t before,” He smirks at me.
All I can do is smile because I know I would start crying if I said anything. God I love him!
“Well shall we go now?”
I nod and we head out the door.
In town there are surf shops and dress shops and diners. I’ve always wanted to see this in person. Drew and I looked at a list of all of the restaurants in town and found one called Cool Sea’s.
Drew and I sit down inside because it is getting cold since it is five o clock.
“Hello, welcome to Cool Sea’s may I take your order?” asks the waitress
“Um yes hi," says Drew. I nod to him to tell him you go first.” I’ll take some iced tea please?”
“Okay, and for you?”
“A lemonade please?”
“Okay that’ll be right out.” The waitress has such a fake smile, and she was smiling at Drew the whole time.
“I’ll be right back; I have to run to the restroom really quick.” Drew explains.
“Okay.”
Meanwhile, I study my finger nails, I really need them done.
Thirteen minutes have passed and Drew still isn’t back. Maybe he’s sick or I don’t know, you know.
Five more minutes have passed. I’m going to wait five more minutes then I’m going to check on him, I don’t care if I have to go into the boy’s bathroom either. Our drinks also haven’t came yet either.
