Keith had gotten the 4 of them stuck in detention. The 4 of them being Keith, Lance, the boy whom looked as he could be in second grade, and Hunk. How did sunshine boy get pulled into this you may ask? Being polite and. well, himself, he got up and tried to settle Keith and the unnamed boy with a talk and a hug. That, hah, did NOT go as planned. He ended up making the whole class go silent and got the teachers attention from his computer. That's what gave them away. Let me tell you about what happened 20 minutes prior to this.

"Now Mr. McClain , you and Mr. Garrett should not have intruded in on a disagreement. Mr. Kogane you shouldn't have been in the fight. Period." Mr. Zonker went on.

Keith dazed off, remembering all of the good times he and Lance had as little kids. Getting into trouble. Eating glue. Coloring outside of the lines. They were so rebellious. Especially that coloring thing. Heh. Better times. He then woke back up into a drowsy reality.

"Mr. Kogane? Mr. Kogane! Stay with me. You know what? Detention and a call to your parents." Mr. Zonker exclaimed.

What Keith hadn't told anyone was that he had no parents. They had died when he was very young. He had been taking care of himself for years. His student loans. His food. Bills. He had nobody left to take care of him.

Lance looked over at Keith out of the corner of his eye. Worried about him. There were other people around so he couldn't say anything stupid just yet.

Keith, just turned around and started to walk out the door. Mr. Zonker was yelling at him but Keith didn't pay any mind to him. He just continued walking away.
