After the “boom”, i felt heat coming up behind me. There was a massive explosion and the bus was on fire, the evil skeleton dude was probably burned alive there.
We were still running , trying to protect ourselves.I followed Caele from behind.
“Guys ! We are going back to the bus stop now. Follow me !” Kathy yelled at the front as she was taking the lead.
The both of us followed Kathy. On they way , we passed a lot of thick trees and bushes.
“Hey ! I think that’s the way we came from !” Kathy said pointing at the road. “We’ve passed here before the explosion happened. ”
The three of us then headed towards the road. I sense something was different , everything started to become foggy. Just like the forest we’ve been through earlier. It was very quiet , just like an abandoned city.
“This is not right...” Kathy said.
“It’s going to be fine. ” I said. “Just...try to find our way out. ”
We tried to look for tracks but it was too foggy , we can’t even see what’s ahead of us.
“What are going to do ?” Caele asked worriedly.
“Relax , i suppose we could...walk forward to see...if the stop is there.” I said trying to comfort them.
“Well..i guess so...”
We walked for some time but we still couldn’t find the bus stop. The sky was starting to get darker and darker, The air seemed to be cooler. I shivered.
“Hey..um..guys ? It’s getting dark now...do you still think we could make it ?” Caele asked.
“Have faith in yourself. ” I said.
“Maybe we will find some place to rest and then...set off again.Maybe the fog will clear up in the morning. Who knows ? ”
“So..that means...w...we...are lost ?” Caele stuttered.
“Um..practically , yes. ” I answered.
“And it’s all my fault...” Kathy muttered.
“Of corse not ! Silly ! I know we could figure out a way together. There will always be solutions right ?” I said while giving them a hug.
Suddenly , i heard a rustling sound coming from a bush behind.
“Who’s there ?” I shouted.
