“Welcome to my house.” Said Kathy.
Her house is kinda small to be honest. It’s kind of like a small wooden tree house in the middle of the woods. We stepped inside the house , some drawings were hung on the wall, the house looked very dull , almost everything in the house was made of wood.
“Did...your dad build this ?” I asked.
“Yes...my dad built this little cabin before he died.He died in a car crash with my mum... ” She sobbed.
“Oh no...i am so sorry...”
“It’s ok...when you spend sometime alone, you will eventually get use to it. ” Said Kathy.
“Come on , i will lead you to your rooms.” She said as she pulled me and Caele to one of the bunk beds.
“I guess you guys could sleep here. ” She said as she grabbed some extra pillows and blankets.
“Thanks Kathy , you really helped us a lot.” I said.
“You’re welcome , my friend. Now you must rest. There is an adventure ahead of us. ” She said.
Me and Caele were sleeping in the same room. We brushed our teeth and got into bed.
“I’m glad i have a good friend like you.” I told Caele.
“You’re welcome. I’m glad we met also. ” She said with a giggle.
“Come on , crystal girl, we’ve got to sleep now. ” She teased.
“Don’t you ever call me crystal girl !” I shouted back.
We lay on our beds and i drifted off into a deep sleep.
I had a weird dream, i was in the cave, the cave of Maximus. There were lava everywhere , burning up the cave. The cave shook and stones are falling onto the ground.
“This place is going to collapse ! ” I shouted at the top of my lungs.
The next thing i noticed is that someone was buried alive by the sand and the stones. Someone i know, but i can’t see her face clearly.
Just then , the scene changed. I was sitting on my bed. A man was sitting beside me.
“Dad ? ”
