After the ambulance arrived in New York Cancer Center, it was a big shock to Arima Takahiko that a lot of reporters have heard that his son, Arima Kousei, was rushed back in the hospital. The hospital had already heard that a VIP patient was coming to the hospital and would need protection. Guards quickly covered them so that they won't be able to go closer to Kousei who needed rest than unnecessary attention.
A hospital stretcher was quickly laid out as they get Kousei's unconscious self out of the ambulance. A lot of hospital staff assisted them immediately. A male nurse was holding Kousei as they gently put him on the hospital stretcher.
After that, Takahiko went down the ambulance. He asked them if he could come with them as they roll the stretcher in the hospital already and into the Emergency Room.
When they already reached the ER, he was stopped by Dr. Lincoln Gareth. "You can wait here, sir. We'll do our best to save your son."
Takahiko's heart is falling slowly once again. He wanted to faint and replace his son. He had already lost his wife. He doesn't want to lose him as well.

Dr. Lincoln Gareth quickly went inside the Emergency Room and asked the nurse who quickly gave Kousei a new IV fluid on. "How is he?"
"He's feverish, and his hands are shaking, sir," the nurse answered. "His temperature's over 38. 5°C. He's also very pale and is having shortness of breath."
He took a very deep breath. "Give him antibiotics for now and a breathing mask. Is he having any pain anywhere?"
"No, sir," she answered her. "I do think he just feels so cold."
He quickly checked his eyes, breathing, and heartbeat. When he found out that he does have a fast heartbeat, he quickly administered medicines on him and rushed him inside an ICU where Kousei can rest and recover. They took some blood on him that will be subjected to tests. He faced Kousei's father who's waiting patiently outside his son's room a few moments later.
