Arima Kousei kept on walking to and fro inside his room at the place where he and Tsubaki are going to get married while wearing his black coat and tie. Watari, Takeshi, and Nathaniel doesn't even know how to calm him down until his father came

"Kousei, I know that you are nervous but you have to calm down! You'll finally get married today with Tsubaki!" Takahiko told him.

"I'll get married today," he sighed, nervously. "She will appear there, right?"

Watari held his shoulders. "I have just seen her. She's the most beautiful bride I have ever seen and you are lucky to have her!"

Nathaniel also came up to him. "Catherine, your aunt, and her parents are with her right now. I'm sure she's also calming her. Even so, she's easier to calm down than you."

Kousei sat on the piano stool. "I know that my wedding with her is just a very simple one. I still can't believe I chose to have a private wedding here in Japan."

All of those with him in his room smiled at the handsome groom.

"I guess if you actually chose a public wedding where all of the limelight is on you, you won't just walk to and fro," chuckled Watari Ryota. "Even so, you're lucky to have her."

Kousei blushed and his cheeks looked like tomatoes. I am just going to get married in front of a mayor. I know that she isn't wearing what other brides actually wear. She might just be wearing a simple long dress or a kimono but to the two of us, that is already fine. I'm not just nervous. I'm excited to see her.

When someone knocked already, the mayor's secretary told them that Tsubaki and Kousei should go out already.

Kousei's father and his friends left first while he still kept on trying to make himself calm down and steady himself. Tsubaki and I will be a married couple after the marriage ceremony. There's no backing out now.

...

Tsubaki and Kousei met together at the back of the black double door of the mayor's office. She's wearing a white, long dress and her hair was straightened out that day. I still can't believe that I'm looking at Tsubaki Sawabe today.

"I still can't believe you were once the athletic woman I know many years ago. After this, you're not a Sawabe anymore," Kousei told her.

She blushed in front of him. "I know that, Kousei! Even so, are you really in love with me?"

"What are you talking about? I proposed to you, didn't I?" he asked her. "I proposed to you thrice."

"What about Miyazono Kaori?" she asked him. "Are you not in love with her anymore?"

Kousei smiled at her. "She told me about you. Even if she's gone, I know she's happy for us. Don't doubt me now. Today's our wedding."

Tsubaki grinned. "You're right. You showed me that you really liked me. You even rented a whole auditorium to just play a romantic song here in Japan with Watari and your father as your audience."
