Chapter 19: I'll kill you, Walker

-Aiden's point of view-

After Tessie stormed out, Emma scoffed and put a piece of popcorn in her mouth, "And Connor thinks I'm dramatic?"

I roll my eyes, "I'll be right back. I have to go talk to Tessie. I grab my phone from my desk and grab a handful of popcorn and stuff it in my mouth. I then make my way to the door. Behind me, I hear Emma slowly get up from the bed.

She grabs my hand and turns me to her. Her fingers land on my chest, looking at it. "Wouldn't you rather finish the movie with me?" She says bringing her lips close to mine.

"Emma, we're just friends." I tell her.

She looks hurt, "B-but when I look into your eyes I see that you love me."

"You're right and wrong." I say and look at Tessie's room through the window. I look back at Emma and see her eyes light up. "You're right about me being in love. But it's not with you." I look away from her and close my eyes, remembering how beautiful Tessie was the day she promised she would never leave me. That day I was thinking of finally kissing her and finally telling her how I feel about her. "It's with Tessie. I love Tessie." I say softly, still closing my eyes.

I remember the day that she kissed me on the cheek. That was around when I first started crushing on her. I didn't think she would actually kiss me but she surprised me by actually doing it.

Three years after Tessie left, at the age 16 after Emma left, I started changing. I played with girls. Andrea was one of them. Andrea has always crushed on me since we were small but I never liked her back. It was always Tessie. It will always be Tessie.

I open my eyes and look at Emma who has backed away from me, she's sitting on the floor, her face in her hands as she brings her knees to her chest. I hear a sob and sit down in front of her, placing a hand on her head. She slaps my hand away and glares at me.

"Don't touch me!" She yells at me. She places her hands on my chest and attempts to push me away. I stare at her, mascara running down her face as she cries.

"Emma.. we can still be friends." I say softly, trying to cheer her up.

She stands up, "I hate you! I hate you, Aiden Walker! I hate Tessa! I hate your family! I hate Tessa's family! I hate EVERYONE!" She yells and walks around me and opens the door, slamming it shut behind her.

Still on the floor, I look out the window. Why was I ever with Emma? She's fucking crazy.

I get up and head out the door. I look out the window, making sure that Emma was gone, and see her car zoom off into the distance.

Now I have to find Tessie.

I walk over to her house and knock of her front door. The door opens and Joey glares at me, his fists clenching.

"Where Tessie?" I ask him calmly.

"Why do you want to know? So that you can make her cry again, asshole?" He growls at me, stepping closer.

"No," I growl back at him, "I just want to see her."

He rolls his eyes, "She's not home. She went to Trinity's house." He says and pokes me harshly in the chest. "If I see you making her upset one more time..." I turn away from him and run to my motorcycle. "I'll kill you, Walker! Make her cry and I'll kill you!" He yells at me then slams the door shut.

Great, everyone hates me. I really hope that Trinity isn't mad at me though. If she is then I'm making my way to the house of my killer.

I knock on the door again for the thousand time. "Open the door, Tessie."

"Go away." I hear her mumble behind the door.

I hear Trinity groan, "Is he ever going to leave!?"

I knock on the door again, "I'm not leaving until I get my chance to talk to my mayfly."

"I'm not yours, Aiden. I never was and never will be." She whispers.

I sigh and sit on the ground, resting my head on the door. "Open the door, Mayfly." I say again.

"No.." she says and I hear a small sob.

None of us say anything but Trinity soon breaks the silence.

"Just hear what he has to say, Tess. So that he can finally leave."

"Fine." She mumbles.

I get up from the floor and face the door, waiting for it to open and for me to see Tessie's beautiful face. I hear small whispers and I impatiently knock on the door again. I head a sigh and I hear the click of the door unlock. I smile but instead of seeing Tessie's beautiful face, I see trinity glaring at me.

"I'm so glad your happy to see me, Aiden." She says sarcastically and I'm guessing that I had a disappointed look on my face. I look over Trinity's shoulder to see Tessie sitting on Trinity's bed, looking at her hands.

"Can you give us a few minutes alone?" I ask her.

She looks at Tessie and hesitates. "Fine. But I swear, Aiden! If you do anything to hurt her I'll kill you!" She threatens me.

I nod and then sigh "Not the first time I heard that today." I say and walk around Trinity who leaves the room, closing the door behind her. I sit besides Tessie. Her eyes were still on her hands which were on her lap. I grab one of her hands but she pulls it back and rests it on her lap again. A tear falls on her cheek and I wipe it off. She winces when I touch her cheek and I sigh.

"Tessie, I'm sorry-"

"No, I'm sorry, Aiden. I shouldn't have said that." She's says and I blink at the memory.

"It wasn't your fault. I would've done the same."

"Don't lie." She whispers, "You would've done something different. What I did was just stupid."

I shake my head and wrap my arms around her. She lets out a small sob and presses her face against my chest. I feel my shirt getting soaked as she cries. I rest my head on top hers and sigh. "I'm sorry, Tessie. I wanted to just be friends with her. Nothing more."

She mumbles something that I don't hear and I pull away from her and give her a confused look.

"What did you say?" I ask her confused.

"I love you." She whispers, her eyes shinning with tears.
