The bad boy's Mayfly [Completed]

Aiden's point of view

It's been a month. A month.

But I was finally going to New York to see her. To see my beautiful Tessie.

I knock on the door and the door opens, reveling Joey.

He frowns, "Oh its just you."

"Nice to see you again too, Joey." I say and chuckle, "Is Tessie home?"

"She's home but she's sleeping." He tells me and opens the door wider, gesturing for me to come inside. "Her room is over there. It's the first room." He tells me and points to a hallway.

I make my way to her room and quietly open the door which was useless since the door made a loud noise.

Tessie moves to her side and mumbles something in her sleep.

"Mm.. unicorns..." she mumbles and I smile.

Some of her strawberry blonde hair was covering her face and drool was sliding down her face but she somehow still looked amazingly beautiful.

I slowly and quietly walk to the side of her bed and sit down beside her. I get under the covers with her and put my arm around her waist, pulling her closer to me.

I loved being with her.

It took hours to get here but it was definitely worth it. She was worth it.

"Aiden." She mumbles and smiles a bit.

I kiss her forehead and she snuggles into my chest, tangling her legs with mine. I smile and move the hair out of her face and kiss her everywhere. By everywhere I meant all over her face. I kissed her nose, cheek, forehead, chin, jaw, and lips.

After keeping her in my arms for a while, she starts to squirm and whimper.

"No..." she mumbles.

She's having a bad dream.

I hug her tighter, hoping that I could stop her bad dream but she continues to squirm in my arms. "It's okay. It's okay, Tessie." I whisper.

Her eyes fluttered open and she moves away from me to sit up, looking around the room. She starts to panic and I wrap my arms around her, making her panic even more.

I make her face me and her eyes meet mine, making her feel safe again. "It's okay, Tessie. I'm right here."

"Aiden!" She yells and jumps on top of me and hugs me. She moves back a bit and showers me with kisses. "I missed you!"

I chuckle and kiss her cheek, "I missed you too."

"I missed you more."

"Not true." I tell her and she nods vigorously.

"What was your dream about, mayfly?" I ask out of curiosity.

She stays seated on my lap and smiles, "We were on our first official date. You dropped me off at my house." She says and her smile fades, looking away from me. "When you left, someone kidnapped me. You somehow found me and the guy stabbed you. Which my head probably got that from Rapunzel because I just watched that recently... but that's not the point. Anyways, he stabbed you and he disappears. And... and you were bleeding so-so much and-" I stop her by holding her hand and she presses her face against my neck.

"You woke me up before you... before you-"

"I'm right here, Tessie. You're safe. I would never let anything bad happen to you, mayfly. Never."

"I-It felt s-so real, Aiden."

"It's okay, Tessie." I assure her and hug her tighter, not wanting to let her go.
