*3rd Person POV*
The Alpha, Alpha Brandon, doesn't say a word to T as they drive up to the packhouse. He stays in silence, ignoring the millions of questions she is throwing his way.
Without a word spoken, from him anyway, he walks quickly to his office. Its a full moon tonight. Meaning only one thing.
Heat.
Heat wasn't just getting hot while you're sleeping to the point where u need a fan. No. Heat was a phase of the mating process. He didn't want to make her do something without wanting to. He wanted her consent, but she doesn't even accept him for who, and what he is.
He couldn't stay within pack territory tonight, he had to run. He had to run and not look back until darkness has come to pass.
Without hesitation, he headed for the back door.
"Where are you headed? T, seems kinda upset with you." Iryse walks in, and Brandon doesn't make any move to turn around.
"Full moon." Is all he needed to say. As a wolf hunter, Iryse knew excatly what he meant. "Take care of her tonight." And with that, he took off.
He ran and ran. He ran till he got far enough to take his clothes off and put them next to a tree. His wolf was anxious and demanding they go back to her. He couldn't let him take the control he needed to protect her.
He shifted into his large black frightening wolf. Then, soon enough he was off again. Running for god knows how long until he reached the boarder of his territory. Not looking back, he sees the sun set behind the moutains. It was beautiful, but all he could think about was how beautiful she is.
He took this time to find a nearby lake. After he got a drink he layed down to rest.
*
He was sitting next to T, waiting for her to unblock his eyes from the 'surprise' she had planned.
She lifted her hands to uncover his eyes and turned to leave the room. Without turning around she says "you should have stayed."
Brandon's eyes widen in shock as he sees a circle of fire surround him.
"Im sorry, mi amor!" He yells, while tears start to form in his now dark eyes.
"If you were sorry, you wouldn't ignore me." T says. Soon shes out of the room.
The fire starts to rise as it closes Brandon in. He messed up. He should have stayed.
.
With that he woke up. He knew excatly what was happening. Heat. He looked up to the stars and saw the dreaded full moon that he could never escape until he has completed the mating bond. Or in this case, until the sun rises.
His wolf was howling to go back to the packhouse and touch the beautiful skin he could call his.
He tried to stay calm as the heat got worse and it was as if the temperature raised 100 degrees. He jumped in the lake, trying to cool off, but only to make the pain more unbearable.
He let out a yelp and started to run in circles to catch air. It was almost like the sun has taken place off the moon making rays of light beat down on him.
He couldn't let the wolf lose. He had to stay in control.
After running about 12 laps, he passed out and leaves consciousness to the rest he needed in the first place.
