The sun's warm morning rays spilled through the large window, alighting the big room with orange light. Zelda's eyes blinked open and she squinted against the light. She rolled over and found a certain blonde hero's sleeping face inches from her own.

"Sleepyhead." She whispered, silently giggling and kissing his forehead.

"Say what you will, I'm the one that cheated death several times in not even a week." Link mumbled, making Zelda jump.

"I thought you were asleep." She frowned. His eyes were still closed but he grinned as if he could see her over-exaggerated pouty face. Link's arm lay limp on her side but he pulled her against him and placed a lazy kiss to her lips.

"I was, then you kissed me." Link opened his eyes, the bright blue finding Zelda's own.

"Sorry." Zelda looked away from him, instead focusing on his chest.

"Don't you ever apologize for kissing me, got it?" Link kissed her forehead and Zelda looked back up at him.

"Okay." She gave a small smile, wrapping her arm around Link's neck. "I love you." She said, pressing her forehead to his.

"I know." Link responded with a grin, earning a light slap on the chest from Zelda. Zelda sat up, the large crimson cover falling off her and pooling at her lap. She swung her legs over the edge and slipped her feet into a pair of wool slippers.

"Though I'd love to lay in bed with you all day, I have a coronation to prepare for." She stood and made her way to a small cord hung on the wall. She pulled the cord and waited.

"Oh.... great." Link turned over to face the wall and pulled her pillow over his head. Zelda giggled at him when the door flew open and several servants filed into the room. The head servant, Nayomy came in and scanned the room. Her eyes fell upon Link's bare back in the bed and she jerked a thumb toward him with a raised eyebrow.

"Ignore Link, he's just being lazy." Zelda waved a hand in his direction.

"You'd think he would be up and getting ready the day of your coronation, though, or at least awake." Nayomy grumbled.

" I am!" Link grumbled loudly, earning an eye roll from Zelda.

"Again, ignore him, and tell me what you have prepared." Zelda looked over the several servants.

"Right this way." Nayomy gestured out the door, taking Zelda down the hall to a dressing room. Upon entering, Zelda's breath caught when she saw the many dresses prepared for her. She slowly paced over to the first, a bright forest green, simple yet elegant design. It was decorated with small white pearls in swirling patterns along the torso and around the collar and shoulders. The next was a dark, full blue. It was sleek and slim, meant to show her own physically stature and curves. It had little decoration except for a white diamond on the front of the waist and two sapphires placed on matching placed in opposite sides of the collar. Zelda went through many dresses, varying in color and design and material. There was a crimson luscious dress with yellow and white highlights. A deep purple made of a fine silk. Zelda looked for over an hour until her eyes settled on one that caught her, almost like it was pulling her towards it. The dress was a lovely pink, like a summer sunset, with black embroidery on the collar. The sleeves were short, reaching hardly past her shoulders had the same pink and black but with white gems placed on the end. She followed a black line curve down the chest, meeting a dark belt at the waist with a bright diamond in the center. Zelda looked at the skirt, more black highlighting the pink, with white placed around, making the dress glow.

"This one." Zelda turned towards the head, pointing to the pink dress.

"Of course, Princess." The servants began removing the other dresses from the room, leaving her chosen gown. "Now, shall we get started?"
