"You!" The big reptile snarled.
"Yes, me." Link responded slowly walking in a curved path towards the king.
"Link what are you doing?" Navi asked sounding very nervous
"Kill him!" The Lizard yowled pointing a curved claw at the hero still working his way towards the large leader. Two lizalfos knights charged Link with drawn blades. Not drawing his sword the kokiri rolled to the left of the first foe stood and jumped with a well timed kick that landed squarely on the lizard's jaw, sending it stumbling towards the other and knocking it over. Both rising and growling, glaring at Link they ran at him with a loud battle cry before both swinging their blades at the hero but hit nothing except empty space. Looking down, Link lay there with a grin before kicking upwards hitting both of them and sending them sprawling onto the ground.
"This all you got king." Link asked tilting his head towards the unconscious lizards sprawled in the dirt. The king very annoyed growled and nodded to Link and four lizards ran at him.
"That's more like it!" Link drew his sword and sheild and sprinted towards the oncoming lizalfos. They hissed as the first swung at Link but was blocked and quickly dispatched with a strong stab through the chest. Before the others could react Link spun around and sliced another across the stomach causing green blood too spill out of the wound. The final two came charging at Link from opposite directions, swinging their blades in anger. Both swinging at the hero's head, Link rolled out of the way, stood and turned to look at the lizalfos. They had hit each other piercing through the other's head when they collapsed in a puddle of blood gushing out of their split heads. Link glared at the king and grinned.
"Or not." Link sheathed his weapons and spun on his heal towards the well
"KILL HIM!" The Lizalfos howled causing several lizards to dash towards the kokiri. Link groaned and twisted around with sword drawn to drive the blade through a reptile before shoving the corpse towards others knocking them off their feet. Quickly stepping back the hero turned 90 degrees grabbed the back of a knights head and pushed it into the well. Several more lizards countinued to attack Link but were quickly brought down by quick strong strikes. Realizing how out numbered he was Link climbed up on top of the well to look out on what was there. He was surprised to see hundreds of Lizalfos coming towards him and more arriving through the valley.
"Well, uh oh" Link knew even with his tremendous skill with the sword that he was outnumbered. SSSSSSSS BOOM! A glowing light arrow wizzed through the hoard of reptiles piercing several before striking a house and exploding, taking out more lizards on contact. Link spun to his left and saw Zelda weilding her light bow aimed straight at the lizalfos with two arrows drawn back.
"Princess!" The small fairy exclaimed
"Back away from the green one." She said slowly pacing towards them, still aiming at the center of the group.
"Green one really?" Link gave an unamused stare at Zelda.
"Shut up, I'm saving your heroic butt." She responded not breaking her threating gaze at the knights.
"Touche"
"What?" The lizard king became enraged of this unexpected turn of events.
"Kill them!" He roared. Zelda quickly turned and released the glowing arrow towards the roaring royalty. The projectile whisked towards him frightning the king. BANG! There was a bright flash and the arrow was gone, replaced by a dark figure with a sword drawn and a sheild hoisted on his right forearm in a stance as if he sliced the arrow in half from the bottom up.
"It's him" Link breathed examining the figures dark yet familiar features. "Zelda, that's the entity that Ganon created."
"Got it." She drew back another shot aimed straight at the dark man's chest.
The arrow was released but quickly cut down with a swift downward swing cleaving the light arrow down the middle. After the bright flash, the fiqure sprinted towards Zelda with blood red eyes.
"I don't think so!" The green clad hero lunged off of the well landing in front of the princess with a drawn sword blocking the oncoming attack and quickly parrying with multiple quick strikes. The dark man easily blocked each blow then jumped and kicked Link directly in the face knocking him to the ground.
"Link!" Zelda cried running towards him. The black clad one sliced upward catching Zelda in the chest causing blood to spill from the wound. Link climbed to his feet to see her collapse on the ground bleeding, and the dark figure sprint towards the valley entrance. The hero whipped out his bow and shot an arrow but hit nothing but stone.
