"Hey how are you feeling?" The brunette original asked, walking upstairs into the doppelgängers bedroom, Elena propped herself up on her elbows and let out a small smile.
"Your blood took away the pain of the needles, but it's just my muscles I feel like I've got nothing in me" she chuckled, swinging her legs over her bed and walking over to her mirror and fixing her hair, Alison stood there before walking next to Elena and standing next to the doppelgänger, looking into the mirror and smirking.
"Do you want me to train you? As in if Klaus comes for you again, you can fight back" the original asked, facing the doppelgänger as she twiddled with the little ballerina on the desk.
"But you'll be going against your brother?" She asked, worried that if she goes against Klaus she'll be in trouble.
Alison let out a dry laugh, "I'm stronger than him, I can take him on"
"Well yeah, I wanna fight" the doppelgänger looked up from her mascara and over to the original with confidence.
"I want to protect my friends"

After a few hours of training, Elena was already picking up the hang of it. The two invited Alaric over so he could bring his weapons to help train the doppelgänger with different sorts of weapons, mostly daggers and small cross bows.
"Okay well I should get going, I compelled this guy to let me have this really big apartment for free, ah the perks of being a vampire" the original smirked, handing back the weapons to Alaric and making her way to the door. She was in a good mood today, which was strange as she rarely was these days.
"See you Elena, tomorrow 4pm, and Alaric come to, we need your weapons" she smiled before twisting the door knob and making her way to her new apartment.

Alison's pov
The apartment was small, but I didn't mind. I just needed a place that was somewhere far away from my annoying family. I dumped my bags as I walked in and made my over to the tv, setting up Netflix before turning on an episode of Santa Clarita Diet and crossing my legs like a child.
I sat like that for a little while before hearing small knocking come from my door.
"Coming" I yelled out, sighing at the fact that I needed to get up. I walked over to the door and instantly regretted opening it.
"Go away" I groaned, slamming the door shut in the eldest Salvatore's face before hearing another knock. I huffed and pulled the door open again, Damon still standing there with his broody look on his face.
"I said g-" before I got a chance to finish, he launched his lips onto mine. Our lips moved in sync, as his hands wondered up and down my body slowly before pulling away. the anger flushed throughout my body quickly as I pushed him off.
"Damon I can't do this" I sighed, running my hands through my tangled hair.
"You don't have too. I just wanted you to know that I will always love you. And I am willing to wait a thousand years for you to love me back" he said quietly, a few tears forming in his baby blue eyes. I slightly smiled before embracing him in a hug, knowing what I had to do to make this right.
"I love you Damon, I always have and always will. But I am no good for you" I whispered, looking into his eyes. I knew this compulsion would work because I've been monitoring his intake of vervain lately. I cupped his face with my hands before taking a deep breath and exhaling slowly.
"You deserve someone better than me" I compelled, his pupils dialating as tears formed in both of our eyes. I took another deep breath before sighing.
"So you're going to forget we ever met, I love you"
"Damon Salvatore"
