I have only been going to college for my last year of high school for 2 days and I completely understand why college kids are always so tired and have mental breakdowns every five minutes. I haven't really even done any work yet and I'm always on the verge of passing out or a mental breakdown and it's fucking KILLING me!!!!

Stay weird my buds!

Chapter 8

"Open up the paper. You're in for quite a surprise."

I hesitated to open it at first but my curiosity got the best of me. Curiosity killed the cat they say. But satisfaction brought it back.

I opened it to see a birth certificate.

Do-12/22/1999

Sex-Female

Name-Lynnlee Johnson

Mother Signature- Pencilneck

Father Signature- Slenderman

I looked up at Jeff and asked "What the hell is this?! Is this some kind of a joke because if it is then It's not funny and I'm not laughing!" I felt tears begin to sting my eyes. My face felt hot.

I never had a birth certificate because my parents weren't my real parents. Sally made a fake one and put her name on it and the same for the twins but never had I actually seen my real certificate. Now I just need to know if its real or not.

"I shit you not. Lynnlee you are the daughter of the famous Slenderman and Mrs. Pencilneck. But you are also the proxy and that makes it into a big problem."

"Why?" Jay chimed in.

"Slenderman has never had a child before. She was only supposed to be his child. The proxy is supposed to fight someone dark and evil. They don't always live. Our last proxy did because she was smart and knew what to do before it needed to be done.  She is the proxy and she is Slenderman daughter. Only those were never supposed to be the case for her. We are still trying to figure out how to get the proxy marks and the power that comes with them out of her. He doesn't want his only child to die in a battle. Even if it will save the world." I didn't say a thing. All I did was stare down at the paper.

"I battle people every day to save children and sometimes adults. Don't tell me that my so called father doesn't know that. I will keep the mark if that means I can save the world and all of the children and people in it. If this is my destiny then so be it." My life before that mission was to save children. My life after the mission was to get my ass in gear to save children. My life in the future is to save children. I am not going to stop saving children.

"But Lynnlee..."

I interrupted Jeff fast and said "No buts. My life has always been about saving children and protecting them. Even before I joined the organization. I intend on saving children until the day I die. You can't stop me. No one can. And if he is my father then he needs to act like one. Because leaving your child with two horrible people who end up beating you and forcing you to do things that a child shouldn't do then he is no father. Make sure you tell him that too. Jay, it's time to go." I stood up and so did Jay. Jeff stood up after and grabbed onto my shoulder. Before I knew it he was being flipped over my back and landing on the floor not breathing for a second.
