Still have another hour or so until the kid's mom gets home and even then I still have to babysit because she works overnight and needs sleep.

Chapter 21

Dream

As soon as I realized that I was back in the field I started to call for my brother. Only I couldn't because I still didn't know his name.

I needed to talk to him about the whole demon side of my thing. I needed to find out what that was. Why it happened. Everything.

I sat down waiting for him to show up. Only he never did. Instead, younger me showed up.

"Hiya Lynnlee! I was sent by our brother. He told me your little deal and well he couldn't bring it upon his goody two shoes self to give you a nightmare. But that's why I am here. However, I believe you had a very important question to ask our brother. I can answer it if you ask it." since my demon side came out I lost it and hurt people. But if evil me came out today then that means good younger me should come out too.

I smiled and asked my question. "Little me. What is with the demon side of me?" She smiled too and answered my question. "It's your evil side. I am your evil side. I came out today."

"I know that you guys are the opposite of what you are in real life and since you came out today wouldn't that mean you should be good?" Suddenly her eyes went wide.

"No...no, no, no...NO!" Her hair went back to brown and her eyes brown too then her skin had color to it. "How did you do that?" She asked me in a cute child voice.

"I'm a very smart girl. I almost became a lawyer so I know my way around deals and loopholes are my favorite to find. They make people mad as hell but if you're the one to find them then your as happy as a baby."

She frowned and said, "I got sent to give you a nightmare but now that I'm good I don't want to."

"Then don't. Look for the loopholes and use them. Fight the evil. And remember good will always triumph over evil." I waved to the little girl and woke up.

Dream over

I slowly woke up to feel someone's arms wrapped around me. Turning towards the person with the arms I recognized a face. Jay. I smiled and ran my hand through his brown hair.

He held onto me tightly. Almost like he thought he would lose me. Like he would wake up and I would be gone. But I'm not going anywhere.

Looking at the clock I noticed that it was three in the afternoon. I never sleep in that late. I always get up early because I have two siblings to take care of. I had to go to school. I have work too...work..."FUCK I HAVE WORK!" I shouted it so loudly that Jay woke up and began freaking out asking me if I was okay and if I was hurt. I shook my head and said "No...no Jay I have work. My boss is gonna be pissed off. What if he fires me?! I can't get fired! I love working there. God Dammit. I need to get going right now. Maybe he will forgive me." It took me a moment to realize that Jay was laughing his ass off.

"Come here beautiful." He reached out and tugged on my arm. I pulled it back and said, "No Jay I have to get to work." He began laughing even more. "Not today. I called in and asked if you could have the day off. You know what that man said? He said that you could take the whole week off as a paid vacation. So come back to bed. It's time you finally rest." I was shocked at what he said. But I found myself slowly laying back down next to him.
