I had a strange dream. I never want to have it again yet at the same time I wish I could.

Chapter 15

I teleported myself to a nearby tree that I had to cut down today. It was big enough to hide behind of. I waited with the chainsaw in hand as the two boys got closer.

"Ski mask." A ski mask popped up in my hand and I slipped it on. The boys were now only a few feet away. Quietly I whispered. "Chainsaw start." It started up and I stepped out from behind the tree. The blade almost hit them. It took them a second to process what was happening and when they did they screamed. Blue boy fainted and black man tried to run only to fall over a stump.

I turned off the chainsaw and set it down while laughing. The blue boy woke up and said, "Now I know why they call you Death."

"Remember that boys. Oh, and did he nickname you yet?"

"Yeah I'm Terrified Kitten and he is Twisted Balls." I started laughing again.

"I will never stop calling you two those names. Now, what the hell are you doing out here anyways? I should be the only person out here other than the guy who pulls out the trees. He won't show up until later anyway."

Twisted Balls spoke up as he got back onto his feet. "Boss said so. He said if we could last a week with you then we could stay. If not he will find new workers."

"Ohhhh is that so. Well then let's get going. Shall we?" I looked at the two and smiled evilly. The only time where I am an asshole is when an idiot like these two try stupid things. But if the boss wants to see if they last a week with me then I mine as well have a bit of fun. After all, they are perverts and perverts shouldn't live.

I picked up the saw and took off the tree branches. "Toss these to the side. When this place is cleared of its big trees we will come back through and turn them into saw dust and wood chips that we sell to play grounds and shit." They nodded and began to move the branches.

I turned to the next tree that had to come down. I looked like it was going to go towards the two boys. I smiled and started cutting. As it started falling I yelled timber. Terrified Kitten was out of the way but Twisted Balls was not. I was about to teleport to him when he teleported away.

I stood there staring at him. Quickly before he noticed me watching him I looked away then back at them. "All okay. The wind blew it the wrong way. You gotta watch out for those."

"Yeah, we are okay Death. Right Twisted Balls?" He nodded and gulped. I sighed and said, "Watch out because they will kill you. That's another reason why they call me death."

"Wait you killed someone?!" Terrified Kitten smiled an eerie smile.

"Hell no. I ain't a murderer." His smile disappeared. "Death just likes to follow me and let me know its close by giving people near death experiences. That's why the boss says that if you can last a week with me you stay. If you can then you either quit or you die or your horribly injured. I've had men leave in full body casts before. I've also had some loose it and start smashing their heads in the tree. Don't ask me why. I just know it's always around me. But boss won't ever fire me because I'm the best here." I smiled. "Keep going. I am going to take off these branches too. Tootsie Roll should be coming out soon to drag the trees out." They nodded and I went back to work.
