The Creatures (Pierce the veil fan fic)

Chapter 2

Ember's POV:

        You ready?, asks Porter, as he pulls me up into the helicopter. As ready as i will ever be. I sit down on the floor of the helicopter with my gun in my lap. Noah and Jake were in front of Porter and me. Sooooooo uhhh.... what exactly are we doing?, asks Noah. What do you mean. Like me and Jake are fighting, and.......?i ask. Are you and Porter going to kill any creatures? HELL YEAH!!! I say. Porter, Noah, and Jake all chuckle. These motherduckers are going down says Jake. Really Jake motherducker?? i ask. Yesh Motherducker is the word. But why would't you just say mot- DONT SAY IT!!! he says/yells with a smile. I laugh and close my eyes while resting my head against the wall.

                                                                    11 hours later

     YO GUYS!!! Yeah? we all say. We are about 3 miles off the coast of New Zealand, says the pilot. Noah Jake, i am sorry that i cant bring you any closer this is as far as i can get on fuel and still be able to make the trip back. I'm going to lower the helicopter so you guys will be able to jump ok. Your guns are waterproof so they should't get jammed. Alright thanks they both say. We all group hug and wish each other good luck. See you guys later i say. ( i hate goodbyes). I watch as they jump into the water. I wave as they start swimmimg.

                                                              7 Hours later

    I am awoken by a jolt in the engine of the helicopter. What's going on I ask the pilot. Change in plan guys i am goint to have to drop you off in Arizona. Why? I am running dangerously low on fuel and in order to make it back i am going to have to drop you off there. What part of Arizona i ask. Uhhh pretty close to california but not far from the grande canyon. Ok we both say.

   As soon as we are off the copter we realize what we are in for. Damn it is as hot as fuck out here says Porter. I know right I say. We walk about 10 miles when we come accross a store. We both go in the store and grab as many bottles of water and food as we can. When we are done We both leave a dollar on the counter, knowing that no one cares if we take the stuff or not.  We walked about 3 more miles when we see a sign, well porter sees it. It says: Welcome to the Grande Canyon National Park. We are getting close to california says Porter. Not really i say, but lets just keep going. Me and porter walk along the edge of the canyon sharing laughs it was actually a lot of fun. We come across a mini cave. Lets stop here for the night i say. Ok he says. We were both sitting on the edge of the cove hanging our feet over the edge eating skittles, we got from the store. The sun had started to go down and it got really cold. I tried to not make it obvious, but Porter noticed. He got up and got a blanket out of the supply bag.

Porter's POV:

I noticed that Ember was trying to hide the fact she was cold, so being the romantic gentleman that i am ( note my sarcasm), wrapped it around her. She turned her head and smiled, thanks she said. No problem. We watched the sun go down until it was completely gone. I will take the first shift. No way, she said. Girl I will go Chuck Norris on you, i said in a sassy tone. Ember went along with it and replied, she stood up and said, Bitch please i will take you down in a second she said with a hair flip. I walk over to her and pick her up and out her on the ground. I lay on top of her. Porter how are you heavy your like 23. It must be the skittles i say with a smile. She sticks her tounge out and closes her eyes finally falling asleep.

Authors Note:

Hey guys sorry for the filler chapter, I wrote this in math class along I wrote Chapter 3. Pierce the veil is in Chapter 3 !!!! I can promise you that. Chapter 3 will be up either tommorow or Tuesday, it depends if i have time or not. The Grand Canyon does get really flipping cold at night for those who have been there or live there will probably know what i am talking about! I was there over the summer and where i stayed it got below 30 in the North Rim. Gahhhhh!!!!
