~Zander~
After many hours of restlessness sleep, I couldn't have been happier to see the sun. I smiled as I hurried and got ready. Art was my first class and art was always the best.
I looked at Alex who was asleep. He looked peaceful and content. That's when I remembered I told Lexie I'd meet her for coffee.
I dashed outside the west wing to find Lexie leaning up against her truck.
"Took you long enough." She snickered. "I already went and got coffee." She said.
"Great." I laughed as we climbed in Ol' Red to talk. Every Monday we would do this.
"So Alex huh?" She said kicking her feet up on the dashboard. I nodded taking a sip of coffee.
"You love him." She squealed.
"I barely know him, but-"
"There always has to be a but." She said sighing.
"I don't know if I'm over Landon." I said looking down.
"Dude Alex is obviously gay." She said drinking her coffee.
"How can you tell?" I asked. She took a long swig from her coffee before replying.
"He didn't look at my boobs once that whole time we were with him." She said.
"That could just mean he's not a pervert like everyone else here." I laughed. She nodded and we finished out coffee in silence.

Mr. Welk must be the weirdest art teacher there is. He looked young maybe in his late twenties.
He had flowing long hair that he kept tied in a ponytail and seemed to be pretty chill.
"Now for your first assignment I want you to draw someone who is very close to you, someone you admire and love, like a friend or family member." He said he glanced around the classroom. "Any questions?"
There were quiet murmurs across the room. I pulled out the pencil and stared at the blank page. I couldn't think of anyone to draw.
In the end I found myself drawing Lexie. I drew Lexie all the time, growing up next to her we spent a lot of time together, and I was usually begging for her to model for me. I quickly sketched out her face and it was a near perfect match. I started to do the eye details when Mr.Welk stopped by my desk.
"No previously drawn drawings." He said.
"No, I just drew this." I said looking up at him. He crossed my arms and I sighed deeply pulling out another paper and drawing Lexie again this time with an annoyed expression. Hopefully he got the message.
"Wow you have talent Zander." He said picking up my drawing examining it. Class finally got out.
"Who is this?" He asked.
"It's Lexie." I said flatly.
"Ah young love." He said.
"No we're just friend we have been just friends since I was like five. It's hardly appropriate for a teacher to be in a students love life Mr.Welk." I said. Besides the fact that I was gay also made Lexie a no go for my love life.
"I'm saying this as a friend Zander, you have incredible talent maybe the best in the class." He said.
I snorted at this as I shook my head "Nah that's a sketch."
"Think of what you could do with a real drawing then. You should enter the New Jersey art show." He said, I shrugged. "Think about it." He said handing me back my drawing.
"I will..." I said walking out of the room. I started to walk back to my dorm and sighed. I didn't want to be in an art show sure my art was good but not compared to everyone in New Jersey.
I unlocked the door to my dorm and saw Alex sitting on his bed doing math. I smiled softly he looked so innocent and sweet. My dark hair fell over my eyes as I flopped down on my bed.
"Alex can I ask you something?" I said.
"Sure." He said looking up from his math.
"Since your parents are rich why did you choose to go to this college?" I asked.
"The English corse is really good here." He said returning back to his math. I nodded I guess that made since.

After music and Alex leaving for English Lexie bounded through the door.
"THIS IS TERRIBLE!" She yelled.
"What?" I asked I looked up from the sheets of music spread around my bed.
"My roommate!" She stomped over to me. I was surprised there wasn't an earthquake.
"What about her?" I asked.
"She's always making out with her boyfriend."
"You always do that too." I pointed out.
"Yeah but I don't have a boyfriend now. I usually don't, I just have friends... With benefits." She added.
"You mean all those shady guys you never let me know the names of?" I asked her.
"They aren't that shady." She laid down on the floor next to my bed. Her red hair laid flat on the floor as she covered her face. "Urg! I just need a stead boyfriend." She said.
"Go find one."
"Later." She said sitting up. "Whatcha doin?"
"Music." I said.
"Want me to tell you what you won't be doing?" She asked.
"What?"
"Girls." We laughed.
