Chapter Fifteen

~Lexie~

I was reading a text book when Amy marched in our dorm room. I glanced at her then continued reading. She walked over to her bed sitting down. "What are you reading?" She asked.

"A text book." I said looking at her, she rolled her eyes.

"It's January fifteenth." She said.

"Great that means my birthday is in ten days." I said looking back at the book.

"No. It means you can stop studying." She said. "Besides that book isn't even in English."

I sighed, "It's in Russian, because I'm majoring in Russian." I said. It was half way through the year and I still didn't know what Amy was majoring in.

I looked out the window everything was icy and dark. It was a chilly Sunday and everything was frozen. I stood up and put on my coat. "I'm going for a walk." I told Amy who didn't so much as glance at me.

I walked put of the dorm and on to the sidewalk. I glanced up at the icicles hanging from the gutters. I walked on the snow. It was perfect powder. I continued walking until I made it to a small coffee shop at the end of the block.

I sat down in the coffee shop and ordered a mocha. I was looking out the window when I saw Alex's range rover pull into a parking spot. That's weird I wonder why he was coming here. Zander got out of the passenger side of the car and they both trudged through the snow and into the coffee shop.

"Hey best friends!" I called to them. The looked over at me.

"Lexie what are you doing here?" Asked Zander as they came and sat at the table with me.

"I was bored so I walked here." I shrugged as the waiter brought me my mocha. "What about you guys?" I asked them.

"Alex had never been here and we were bored." He told me.

"Makes sense, there's nothing to do." I said.

"I wonder what Landon is doing." Said Zander.

"Probably taking pictures." Said Alex laughing as the waiter came back and they ordered coffee.

"I'll text him." I said pulling out my phone and texting him.

"This place is nice." Said Alex.

"Yeah, I like it." I said looking around.

Landon texted me back as the waiter brought them their coffee. "Landon says he wants us to come over because he has someone he wants us to meet."

"Sweet he's giving us something to do." Said Zander.

We all piled into Alex's range rover and drive to Landon's house. When we got there and there was a new car parked in Landon's drive way.

"I wonder who he wants us to meet." Said Alex as we went up do the door. I knocked and Landon answered a couple seconds later.

"Come in guys!" He said smiling being his always happy self. "There's some one I want you too meet!" He said shutting the door behind us.

Inside there was a boy with bright blue and purple hair sitting on the couch. He smiled and stood up. "It's nice too meet you I'm Asher, Landon told you so much about me." He said.

"He's my new roommate, I needed help paying the rent and stuff." Said Landon smiling.

"It's nice too meet you." I said smiling at him.

"It's nice too meet you too." Said Alex.

"So what made you want to live with Landon?" Asked Zander laughing. Landon rolled his eyes.

"I got kicked out of my frat house because I had a party without the other guys permission. It wasn't my fault, I just wanted to have this girl over and she invited all her friends." He laughed and shrugged. "The guys didn't appreciate that."

I laughed, "I'm surprised you could even get kicked from a frat house. That seems really hard to do."

"I didn't really like the guys anyways, they didn't really like me ether so." He shrugged and smiled.

"I was gonna be in a frat house." Said Zander, "Then I changed my mind."

Alex laughed, "I couldn't see you being in a frat house."

"I would've just pissed everyone off." Said Zander laughing.

"Now that I could see." Said Landon.

"Yeah well who couldn't see that?" I asked laughing.

"What've you guys been doing?" Asked Landon.

"Studying." I said.

"We've been driving around town." Said Alex.

"We we're bored." Added Zander.

"We should go do something." I said.

"Like what?" Asked Landon.

"I didn't think that far ahead." I said.

"Well we could have salad Sunday, since we haven't done that since last march." Suggested Zander.

"Yes! Salad Sunday here we come!" I said laughing.
