Katie stirred in her sleep and she woke up feeling better then what she did for who knows how long. She noticed she was pressed up against something or someone warm and soft. She nuzzled into whoever or whatever it was and smiled contently. She didn't notice that she had her face in Sans chest.
Spencer woke up on the floor. This usually wasn't a problem, but he was on a pile of bones.
"What the hell!" Spencer shouted. Then he looked at his right hand. Sure as hell, there was a large white scar on his palm. "Flowey, you bastard." Spencer thought. "So, this is real. Cool then." Spencer looked around and saw Papyrus sleeping in his car bed. He quietly stood up and snuck out of the room, not wanting to wake him.
He looked downstairs, spotting his cousin sleeping on Sans chest. A shout brewed in his chest and almost catapulted out of his mouth before he remembered that his cousin had to stay with him. Or he'd get a new scar. So he hopped down and landed quietly, like a freaking cat ninja. He left through the door, grabbing his scarf and shoes as he left. He wanted some fresh, cave air.Stella carefully pulled Spencer's sweater off of Katie and quickly gave it to him before he could turn around. Chara moved and sat on one of Spencer's shoulders, wanting to keep him company. Katie, heard some movement, but she was too happy where she was to give two craps.
Spencer put on the sweater and shoes. He was cold, so he ignited his hands to warm them up. He walked outside, and barely noticed Chara on his shoulder.
"How'd you sleep, Chara?" Spencer asked, as he walked down the street.
"I don't sleep. I'm a ghost, we don't sleep." Chara said, a bit bitterly.
"Oh. So, do you hate me still?" Spencer asked, looking at Chara. They sighed.
"I don't hate you, you just piss me off at times. You're like a kid, throwing tantrums and making people feel bad. It makes me angry." Chara said, hopping down to stand in front of Spencer. "You really need to tone back the fire blasting." They added. Spencer realized he didn't know if Chara was a guy or girl. So he asked.
"Attack helicopter." Was the answer he received. He promptly dropped the subject.
Katie laid on whatever she was on, but then she got curious. She opened her eyes and only saw a shirt. But as soon as she turn her head she saw she was laying on Sans. At first she found the skeleton's sleeping face cute and questioned how skeletons close their eye sockets. And then reality hit her. Katie flung herself back and then fell off the couch and onto Nebula who was asleep on the ground behind the couch. Sans would have fallen off the couch if not for Galaxy sleeping in front of the couch. Katie rolled over and quietly squeaked into Nebula's fur.
Spencer walked down the street noting where everything was. Grilby's was there, the row of houses were there, and Sans and Papyrus lived there. Spencer was talking to Chara, trying to learn more about them, but they were very secretive. He learned that they had also fallen from the surface and that they were taken in by Toriel. Other than that, there was nothing that he could learn. Eventually, Spencer walked back to the house and opened the door. He hoped they were awake now.
Katie could be barely seen in Nebula's mane. She was making every high pitched fangirling noise ever known, even if they were muffled by the amount of fur. Galaxy and Nebula were both awake and looking at Katie.
Spencer just stood in the doorway, impressed by the range of his cousin. "Every single sound, damn." He thought to himself. He then walked into the living room and tapped his cousin on the shoulder. She looked up, and Spencer couldn't help but laugh at her face. It was red, not pink but red.
