Spencer saw Muffet on top of a massive spider, muffin abomination. Spencer jumped back a foot, but regained composure.

"Nice pet." Spencer said. Muffet giggled. The pet roared. Spencer scratched the back of his head and placed a hand on his sword, just in case things got nasty.

"So, may I ask why you're riding on that, thing?" Spencer asked. Muffet narrowed her eyes, all five of them.

"Well, I heard that there was a human that would be passing through, I heard that they had a striped shirt. I heard that they hated spiders. I heard that they like to pull their legs off. Like to step on them. I heard, that they were very stingy with their money." Muffet said. Spencer looked down at his shirt, two silver stripes on a purple sweater. Spencer looked back at her.

"I don't hate spiders. I wouldn't sleep with one, well, usually." Spencer said the last bit on accident. He looked horrified, "but I don't hate spiders." Spencer concluded. Muffet giggled at his awkwardness,

"Well, the person who told me about you offered a hefty payout for your soul." She continued. Spencer didn't like where this was going.

"I could buy a heated limo with that money. Then all the spiders could ride that through Snowdin." She finished. Spencer was confused.

"I can make Snowdin warm enough for spiders, why would you need the money?" Spencer asked, his heart starting to hurt. Muffet thought for a bit.

"Well let's have some fun anyway." Muffet laughed. She shot some silk out of her mouth and it wrapped Spencer up completely. Spencer's soul turned purple. "Purple suits you better." Muffet decided. Spencer was annoyed. His body glowed. The silk held for a second, but it quickly flashed and then shriveled away. Spencer rolled his eyes.

"Look, you're cute and all, but I will defend myself. I suggest stopping." Spencer told the spider girl. She put a hand to her mouth and giggled. The other five hands threw out more webbing, making a three dimensional maze of webbing. Spencer saw waves of spiders running at him down the webs.

Spencer, still wanting to make a good impression, leapt off the webs and onto a cave wall, unsheathing his blade mid flight and stabbing it into a wall. He leapt from one wall to another, slicing threads as he went. Soon, the entire web came crashing down. The spiders all started falling, but they all landed fine. Muffet and her pet fell as well. Spencer leapt off the wall, caught Muffet as she fell and grabbed onto one of the last lines remaining.

"Do I win now?" Spencer asked as he held her in one hand, his blade in the other. She nodded, and Spencer pulled himself onto a ledge nearby. He hoisted her up and sheathed his blade. "That was fun." Spencer said, breathing heavily. The leaping and cutting was very physically demanding. Muffet grabbed him with all six arms.

"I guess you deserve a prize now, don't you?" Muffet added winking with two eyes. "Awesome, another donut." Spencer thought excitedly.

Katie was forced to be apart of Mettaton's show and after he left Alphys taught her how to play Smash Bros. She was a very quick study, and after beating Alphys the two watched Kissy Kissy Mew Mew Cutie. The two laughed the entire time and had some fun. Sans came back and Katie and him talked about what they were going to do 'if' the barrier breaks.

"So what's my prize?" Spencer asked. "Do I get another donut? Or what?" Spencer asked, completely clueless. Muffet rolled her eyes, smiling.

"You could have killed me, and all the spiders here. And would have been justified in doing so. Yet you didn't. And you're still willing to help me for free. I have to reward that worth more than a donut." And she kissed him. Not for long, just a quick peck on the lips, but Spencer's brain just about melted. Muffet let go of him and helped him back down to her main floor. She took his hand and led him out of the cave, as Spencer was barely aware of where he was going.
