Katie went back up after a few minutes and found Sans still asleep.

"How can he sleep?" Chara asked.

"PTSD is why. And I wonder who caused that?" Katie asked pointedly, and she joined the Skeleton.

Meanwhile, Spencer was running around like a madman, brushing teeth, fixing his hair, etc. He tried to wash his scarf, but it was burned slashed. He decided he'd fix it later and went without it. He was on the street, sprinting to the cave as fast as he could. He was there, 10:01 am.

Katie was holding Sans because he had another episode. She truly felt bad for him and wanted to take care of the older skeleton. The she wondered how old Sans really was. But she would find out later.

Muffet was at the door, wearing her signature puffy pink red outfit. Spencer though she looked gorgeous.

"Hi." Spencer said, slightly breathless, and not because of the run. "Sorry I'm late." He apologized. Muffet put two hands to her mouth and laughed.

"Ahuhuhu, you're not that late. So, ready to go out on the town?" She asked, to which Spencer nodded. She took Spencer's hand and took off towards the town, with Spencer being pulled behind her. They reached the town, Muffet pointing out where everything was. Spencer tried to concentrate on what she was saying, but he couldn't stop staring at her. She was so absurdly cute. And her little laugh was just so adorable. He could barely pay attention to why the inn was there and not here. The day was a blur, but a happy one. He could vaguely remember that they had eaten burgers for lunch, Spencer having the glamburger, or something like that. They talked about this and that, trying to get to know each other. Eventually, the day had to end. The sun had long since disappeared from the holes. They started walking home, but Spencer knew she was too tired to make it back. So he scooped her up and carried her home. He lay her down on her bed of cobwebs and started to leave.

"Thank you for today." Muffet said, sleepily. Spencer grinned turning back.

"Anytime." He said, simply. She smiled and closed her eyes. Spencer walked out of the cave, but a spider tapped him on the leg. He looked down.

"Yes?" He asked. The spider held up a note. "Thanks for giving her a good time. She's been so stressed trying to make money that she's had no time for herself. We spiders greatly appreciate your helping her have fun again. So, thank you." Spencer read aloud, picking up the note. He looked at the spider and laughed. "No problem little dudes." he replied and walked the rest of the way home.

Katie was wide awake and moving toward her cousin. She knew they had to keep moving and needed to stop Mettaton from trying to kill them.

Spencer opened the lab door and was immediately smashed upside the head with a metal object. Spencer recoiled from the attack, backflipping away and pulling his sword from his sheath.

"Mettaton, what the hell are you doing?" Spencer asked, seeing the robot holding a frying pan. The robot rolled forward to hit him again, but Spencer caught the pan and melted it with flames. "Stop!" He yelled at the robot.

"Mettaton..." Katie growled as all of the beasts were around her flinched. She looked pissed off.

"What are you doing with this Human?" She asked in a Very, deadly calm voice. And all of the creatures backed away a little, scared if their master was going to dismantle the robot.

Spencer, who was holding his nose as it started bleeding, smacked the back of the robot as it turned to look at his cousin. He accidently flipped a switch.

"Did you. Just flip. My switch?" The robot asked. Spencer looked at the robot as it started to shake uncontrollably. The lights flickered and went out as the robot seemed to explode in a cloud of dust. A smooth, but slightly metallic voice spoke through the gloom.
