Katie calmed down most of the monsters that freaked out about the puns, and she knew what she had to do.
"How about all of us head back to the barrier? I'm sure there will be a great show of that accursed thing breaking." Katie said making everyone look at her. She smiled and headed out to the castle. Everyone followed. Unsure about if this one human girl could break the barrier that held them for years.
Spencer noticed Katie walk by with a parade of monsters behind her. Spener tapped on Muffet's shoulder and pointed at the sight. She set down her cans and brushes and looked.
"Wanna see the barrier break?" Spencer asked her. She put all six hands to her mouth in disbelief.
"Who's going to break it?" She asked. Spencer replied with,
"My cousin." The two stood and joined the party following the older of the two humans.
Katie and group made it to the throne room yet again. But now Katie's senses kicked in. She barely managed to get her cousin out of the way, as her creatures leapt in the air. Vines came out of nowhere and wrapped themselves around all the monsters that didn't jump. Flowey appeared with a still slightly battered face but he seemed fine.
Spencer spun thrice in the air, and landed on his feet. He pulled his blade and lit his left hand of fire.
"Dammit Flowey! Do you not not know when to quit? I'm a fire type and a steel type. I am four times effective against you!" Spencer shouted, as he went into Pokemon lingo out of sheer annoyance. This did confuse everyone except Katie.
"Stop with the Pokemon stuff, cuz." She said.
"But Spencer used Nerd Out. It's super effective! Flowey is confused. Flowey hurt itself in confusion." Spencer said,
"Cuz... Enough." Katie said. Spencer took that as advice and sprinted at the flower, ready to kill this bastard once and for all.
Flowey dodged with ease, and the 6 human souls were around the flower again.
"Oh you gotta be kidding me!" Katie said as she looked at the flower. But more monsters came around, telling the two that they could beat the flower.
" What? No! This can't be happening! You... You..." Flowey paused looking scared. Then he gained his ghost face again.
"YOU IDIOTS! ALL YOUR SOULS ARE MINE." As Flowey said that he absorbed all the monsters souls. The room went white for a little while and then there was a little goat monster standing there. They were in a green and yellow striped shirt and brown pants.
Spencer was stuck to a wall, after leaping up there to try and escape the implosion that the flowery freak had just caused. Leapt down, and saw something on the ground. It was a pink ribbon. The same kind of ribbon that Muffet used to tie up her hair. Spencer picked it up and looked at it. Tears came to his eyes, and the dust around him started to move. His hair and clothes started to flow slightly. He shook as tears streamed down his face.
"Give her back." He said quietly, still looking down. He looked at the goat kid. "Give her back!" He shouted, a black aura surrounded him as he charged. But before he could do anything, a massive sword came out of nowhere and smacked him through the cave wall. Spencer remembered no more as he slipped into unconsciousness. "Give her back..." He whispered.
Katie turned back and looked at where Spencer was. She checked on him but she noticed he was out cold. She turned back when she heard someone come up. Katie slammed her now monster form hand into the face of the monster in front of her, forcing him to be slammed into the barrier. Which seemed to crack under the power from two physics warping Gods.
"You fucking dare hurt my cousin! I am the Goddess of Novadeath! You will not be able to leave here alive!" Katie screeched as she remembered Sans was inside of the goat monster too. This only made her hatred spike up to levels the were like her stats. The two gods were both unstoppable forces that met and were trying to overpower the other, but neither could overtake the other. This fight made of Asriel shooting lazers, making stars fall, and slashing with sabers. And Katie almost doing the same thing. The two looked almost like a fighting pair of starving dragons.
"This isn't even my true power! I am the God of Hyperdeath! Even if you are a Goddess, You will not stop me from Chara and my dream!" Asriel yelled back at Katie as he showed his true form. That was when Katie remembered the dream and the promise to Asriel. Her hatred and anger melted away, and now she was going to help him. The mask on Katie's face started to break and light started to make wings on her back. The mask broke and the wings became real. Katie's face was almost the same color as the mask that was there once before but all the red was glowing. In fact all of the red was glowing a light blue.
"You have power. But I can do anything. I will keep my promise. I will find a way to set you free." Katie thought to him. Asriel was surprised for a second and then his face became one of realization. He couldn't believe that the normal human was now the one that stood in his way. But then he also realized something else. She cared about everyone. Katie, in Asriel's time of realization, returned the memories of all the monsters. Asriel returned to his original form. Katie did the same. And she looked like she did before the transformation, only with glowing wings. Both put their hands together and all the soul seemed to come out of Asriel. The barrier stood no chance against two true gods. Katie had done something beyond what she could have done way before the understanding of the burden of having great power. She made new bodies for the souls, just how they were in the dream. She did the same for Asriel of course, as well as a new soul.
"How can I thank you?" Asriel asked as the two floated back down. Katie smiled, she looked like an angel come to save him.
"You don't have to pay me anything. Let's just be friends." The goddess said. Katie made everything go back and Spencer was healed, having no injuries whatsoever. Papyrus, Toriel, Sans, Alphys, Undyne, Asgore,Chara, Mettaton, and Muffet stood under the girl that had power that would never be matched. Katie held Asriel and Spencer in each arm as her wings slowly faded away, the three slowly descending to the group. The goddess touched the ground and handed Asriel to Toriel and Spencer to Muffet. Both only seemed to be asleep. The souls of Katie's creatures left her and she fell forward, right into Sans' arms.
"Well. I never want to do that again." Katie muttered as she used what was left of her goddess powers that were fading quickly to bring the 6 children that had once been dead to the group. Somehow another was there too. A skeleton, he looked much older than both Sans and Papyrus.
"Gaster." Katie said as she finally used up her powers. She knew he was there and had brought not only him, but the memories of him back. Katie fell asleep in Sans' arms as everyone looked at her in shock. They all were surprised that a human could have such power.
