The next day, I let Mika use my sister's old school uniform from when she went to the school, because Mika had lost hers. It was a bit big on her and the sleeves almost covered her hands entirely. I helped her secure the red plaid skirt to fit her waist with a safety pin, and helped her tie the red ribbons on her low twintails, and then I changed into my own uniform in the bathroom. I transfered classes without her knowing, so we were in quite a few classes together. Mika was waiting for me when I got out of 5th period, so we could walk to our 6th period class together. We stopped by the bathrooms on the way, and Mika waited outside for me. I looked around in the bathroom. No one was there. Thank god. My hands tensed up, and I slammed my fist into the wall, trying to pull myself together. My breath was unsteady. 'Not here. Not now.' I thought, staring down at my feet, my hands pressed against the wall. I heard a scream outside the bathrooms and ran out. I saw Hiroki inappropriately flirting with Mika, his body too close to hers "You bastard!" I ran and lunged at him. Mika gaped. "Stop!" I punched him, but Hiroki was still smiling. "Akio. . ." I looked back at Mika, she was swaying and her eyes appeared distant. She was about to collapse. I let go of Hiroki, and ran over as she fell, barely catching her. "Mika. . . When I found you. . . was it him? Did he hurt you in any way?" She turned her head away from me. Hiroki had left. I inhaled and sighed. "Oh, god." There was a long period of silence.

"Akio can we just leave school for today?" She asked, still not looking at me. "Sure. We'll just go back to my house, alright?" Mika nodded. We went back to my house and she went to my room and took a nap in there. I changed out of my uniform and went to play video games in the living room. I was playing for about an hour or so, when I heard Mika's voice from behind me. "Seriously, you don't know how to defeat that boss?" She asked. "How long have you been watching me?" I replied, answering a question with a question. "Since the boss just before this one." She answered. "But that was like 45 minutes ago, what the hell?" I turned around, looking at her. She laughed. "God, you're like a tiny ninja, Mika." I turned back to my game. "I'm not that small!" She said. I ignored her, focusing on my game. I died for the 7th time and the game-over screen popped up. "Dammit!" I yelled, frustrated. Mika grabbed my controller and took over the game. "You have to go behind him, spin attack, which will throw him off, and then stab. Do that three to five times while dodging his poison and fire attacks, and you should win." She was right. She did just what she'd said and the boss death scene was shown. "There you go!" She said, handing the remote back to me and heading to the kitchen. "Now you're just going to raid my kitchen?" I asked. "Yup! I help you beat that boss in one single try. That's hard work. I deserve it."

"Alright then." I sighed, returning to my game. Mika came back with a bag of potato chips and started munching on them. "How dare you take my chips, of all the things in that kitchen." I said, playfully shoving her. "Well they're my chips now!" She said, holding them in the air. I dropped my controller and tickled her until she dropped them, and they spilled on the floor. "What have you done to my chips?" I asked, stifling a smile.  Mika laughed, looking over at me. "My chips, correction."

"Well I think they're the floor's chips now" I said. "Yup." Mika agreed. "Well. . . " She said. "What? I asked. "At least I have pocky!" Mika held a box of chocolate pocky in the air. "But you got it from my kitchen, so it's mine!" I said. "Nope!" She ran away with the pocky into my room, locking the door. I sighed and laughed, not bothering to chase after her.
