I was sitting upside down on the couch, mashing the buttons of the controller, trying to beat the current boss. Akio walked in. "How do you always get up so early? And what're you doing? And why?" He asked. "This boss has psychological attacks that confuse the hero and can flip the entire scenario upside-down on the TV, and it was throwing me off, so instead I just decided to do this upside-down and it's actually much easier. At this rate, I'm definitely going to beat this game before you." I said in reply, smiling. He sighed. "Probably true." He muttered, sitting down next to me. His phone started ringing, but he ignored it. "You gonna answer that?" I asked, still focusing mainly on the game. "Probably not." He replied. "Akio, come on, just answer it." I said, pausing the game and looking over at him. "Fine, whatever." He said. He pulled his phone out of his pocket and answered the call. I could vaguely hear what the person on the other end was saying. "Hello?" Akio said through the phone. "Akio, it's me, and I know you hate me, I hate me too, honestly, but I'm freaking out. My parents are making me move back and I. . ." Akio turned down the volume of the phone call and I couldn't hear anything else. I got up and sat properly on the couch, patiently waiting for Akio to get off of the phone. When the call finally ended, I started asking questions. "Who is that? Why's he so panicked? How do you know him? What's up?" I asked all at once. "God, you always ask so many questions." Akio said, laughing. "I'm sorry." I said, quietly. "Don't be." He said. "Alright. . . So, here's what happened. . ." He began saying.
