All I Have

I just finished my last patient for the day after one whole hectic day. I had to do drive up into UCLA and have a talk with the upcoming medical students and make recommendation letters for both of my interns and one recommendation letter for one of my volunteer who needs it for his high school merits.

There was a faint knock before my secretary pops in.

"Dr.Dawson I'm off and thank you so much for the present you sent my mom, she haven't stopped talking about it" he said smiling.

When I heard that his mom has been wanting a full experience of a luxurious hotel, I immediately sent one of my gift voucher that I always have but never had the time to do so since my schedule pretty much always packed.

"ahhhh don't mention it! i'm really happy that she enjoyed it" i said smiling while organizing the paper stack on my table. " Anyways off you go hun, after I finish cleaning up here then i'll go pack up and leave" I said happily.

He nodded and left my office. I continued finishing up and cleaning up the office until there's another knock then the door burst open.

"I thought you left-"

"MAAAAAMM!!!" violet happily screeched her little feet dangling while jessamyn carrys her with just one arm.

Seeing them together made my heart flutter and I think I wouldnt ask for more. Being with the people I love is just way too much! I mean I thank the heavens for bringing me all this people around me and in my life.

"hey doll" jessamyn said while she passed me a giggling violet towards me and while leaving a  soft light kiss on my temple.

Both Jessamyn and Violet sat down by the couches by the side of my office. Violet sprinting towards me while I enveloped her and lifted her up while giving her lots of kisses. I miss her still everyday every time I go to work.

But now I have her and the love of my life to look forward to- but that is if she's ready to come home.

"What's with the look doll?" She asked standing up examining my office since it's her first time really coming in here and seeing my clinic.

She looked at me after seeing all the photos that are framed which consists of me and violet and Luke and drew and Chris.

"Nothing much, just appreciating the view" I said smiling while looking at her.

Still not believing that after two years we still managed to see each other coincidentally.

"Ma... Jessy said we can eat McDonalds too!" Violet said excitement very evident in her beautiful face.

Jessamyn walked closer squishing violets chubby cheeks while she giggles and making a fishy lips.

The thing is I barely feed violet processed food, I always make the time to cook her food and always making sure that drew do the same with Lucas. But  me not wanting to be that buzz killer of a mom I do sometimes treat the kids with normal food that kids loves.

I looked at Jessamyn and raised an eyebrow. "Really now?Can momma go with?" I asked playfully.

"Yes! YES!!! " she excitedly said wanting to be put down as I did so, she ran up to Jessamyn and jumping up shaking Jessamyns lanky hand, while she stare at her with a wide smile and a kind and loving look in her eyes.

But the thing is I don't want to dumped all this responsibility on her shoulder, specially now that her career in UFC is really getting there and is at its peak.  I need to let her know that because knowing Jessamyn she will just voluntarily shoulder everything.
