Chapter 11

Tonight was the dance at 8o clock. Even though my parents said I couldn't go, I was going and that was final. I was going to sneak out by bedroom window and go to that dance.

I was sitting at the kitchen table, as I finished my meal. I got up and glanced at the time as I set my plate in the sink, trying to look unsuspicious. It was 7 o clock and since David was picking me up at 7:45 I had to move fast. I started to walk to my room.

" I'm going in my room!" I informed my parents.

" Why?" my mother asked.

" Well since I can't go to the dance" I started with a load of attitude. " I'm going to watch t.v. and I would really appreciate it if you all left me the hell alone and didn't even think about coming to my room!" I sighed as I rolled my eyes and walked away.

I walked to my room and pretended to slam my door. I smiled and locked the door. I walked over and went through my dresser, I plugged in my curling iron and set it on my desk before going to get dressed.

I twirled in the mirror before smiling and playfully bowing. I was wearing a beautiful white dress, it had long white sleeves and the top was tighter, around my waist was a golden belt where the dress started to flow, it was cut at the knees but the back continued to my heels. I had my hair curled and a white head band with flowers. I wore a light purple eye shadow.

I checked the time, it was 7:37. I opened my closest door grabbing a pair of light brown cowgirl boots. I carried them in my hands as I turned on the t.v. to volume 21 while I set the remote on my night table. I slowly walked to my window trying not to make a sound. I opened my window and quickly slipped through. I sat on my window ledge , putting my boots on. I jumped down, quietly closing my window.

I walked out to wait for David by the road. He pulled up and came out of the passenger side door, wearing a nice black suit with a blue tie.

" Wow you look beautiful Eva." he said in awe.

" Thanks, you look great." I said before he gracefully opened the door and let me in.

I slid to the left side of the car as David sat beside me. He grinned and we drove off.

We met up with all of my friends. Selena was wearing a beautiful blue dress with her hair up in a nice bun, Ashley was wearing a beautiful pink sleeveless dress, with her beautiful blonde hair straightened as it flowed behind her. Jen was wearing a short blue dress, and her brown hair was done up in a nice fish tail braid. Taylor was wearing a nice purple dress, which was quite tight and had some little diamonds making a V shape around her waist and her hair was curled in a high ponytail. The guys, Jacob, Ben, Jake and Ethan wore about the same thing, black suits.

David and I went to dance for a bit, I wasn't a really good dancer so I mainly stood there, moving my feet to the beat and during the slow dances I would follow David's lead.

" I'm thirsty, I'm going to get a juice, you want one?" I questioned

" Ya, i'll come with you" he cooed, as he grabbed my hand and lead me to the juice table.

We grabbed a juice, I had a apple juice and David took a sprite. He grabbed my hand turning me around. I glanced over and saw Victoria, oh crap, she saw me.

" David hide me !" I squealed, standing behind his back.

"Hey!" A annoying but familiar voice said in front of me. I slowly pulled away from David's back, feeling embarrassed.

" Hey! It's nice to see you." I cooed , trying to put that fake smile on my face as I didn't want any problems tonight.

" Ya, you too, this is Sam, he's my boyfriend." she introduced, smiling at the boyfriend part.

" Hi, nice to meet you, I'm Eva and this is David"

" Oh, you're Eva!? I've heard soooo much about you." They gave each other a look before starting to giggle.

Gosh they were perfect for each other! They were both spooled snobs. Sam might not have been to bad looking on the outside but his insides disgusted me.

" Look guys, we're only here to have fun, so if you don't mind, why don't you go rejoin the ass's over there you call your friends."

" What did you just say?" Sam said pushing David.

" Look, you heard me, leave us alone." He stated, pushing Sam back.

" David don't!" I yelled pulling his arm before anyone got hurt.

" Listen to your little girlfriend, there bud, you wouldn't want to get hurt."

" David let it go!" I howled, rephrasing my words as he didn't listen last time.

David had it set in his mind that he wasn't letting go without a fight. He punched Sam square in the face. Sam took and step back in shock but moved back up, punching David right in the nose.

" Stop, stop, stop !" I squealed.

What a b***** ? Victoria stood there with a smile on her face as I screamed for them to stop.

Sam laid on the ground, hands on his nose, with Victoria to his side, her hands on his chest. David stood there staring at Sam, he couldn't help but smile a bit and I don't blame him.I grabbed David by the arm and lead him to the washroom, blood making it's way down his face, he's nose was bleeding badly and I needed to clean it up. I opened the girls bathroom door.

" I'm fine, I'm not going in there." he stated as he started to back away.

" Listen mister, you didn't want to stop when I told you to and now you have to pay, would you rather go in there or be covered in blood the entire night?" I said raising my voice.

He finally let in and I checked if the coast was clear. I opened the door and lead him behind me as I brought him to an empty stall, leaving him there as I got a wet paper towel.

I washed up his face and looked at him for a second. I felt bad, I made this happen, David would not have got hurt if it wasn't for me, Sam would not have laughed and David would not have punched him and his face would be all bloody. We stood there in an awkward silence before David spoke.

" Eva, I love you."

" I, ahhh, love you too?" I shook my head before restarting.

" No, I love you too" I stated hoping he forgot what I said the first time, I wasn't good with this kind of stuff, I never really paid attention to boys even though that's what every other 14 year old did, I didn't and this was all new to me.

" You didn't have to say anything if you didn't mean it." David said before opening the stall.

" No, I do!" I reassured him.He walked out of the stall and left the bathroom. I can't imagine what everyone else thought seeing a guy walk out of a girls bathroom stall, but I did get different reactions. Two girls screamed, one jaw dropped and three others just stared. I exited the stall, with the bloody paper towel in my hand. I stood there as I felled like my heart had just gone through a shrewder. I had to go after him. I ran to the bathroom door and hit it off the wall as I flew it open. I walked out looking for him as the song 'Apologize' by Timberland played.

" You couldn't be at a better time!" I yelled to my self. I searched the room and found David.

" David wait!"
