Chapter 24
I jumped, catching my breath.
" You stupid alarm, I swear if you weren't useful, I would have smashed you by now... I bet everyone would have." I yelled, whispering the last part.
I punched the 'off ' but only because I was angry that it always had to wake you up at the best parts of your dream, scared you to death and mostly because it WOKE YOU UP!
I jumped out of bed, forgetting about the stupid thought that brought me anger ( alarms), I was excited for today!! In case you guys forgot, today was the concert!!
I got the chills as I exited the toasty, red blankets, I slipped my fuzzy pink slippers on my feet and picked out my clothes.
I grabbed my light blue skinny jeans and a pink top.

I slowly and lightly stepped down the dark brown oak stairs.
I grabbed a small bowl of Cheerios and sat on the black bench at the counter.
I checked my phone, making sure the taxi was still coming, it was around 9:34 am and the taxi was coming at 11:30 am, the concert started at 9:00 pm which gave us time to spend the day in town.
The taxi was confirmed, I locked my phone returning to my photo I had set, it was a picture of me and David, at the fair, we were with the pigs, David was to me right but in the picture my left, I had a line of mud spread across my face, we had our heads side by side, my smile was wide and shimmering, his green-blue eyes sparkled as we laughed.
I was so happy we were back together, even thought it only lasted about half an hour, it was the longest 30 minutes of my life. I stared at the picture for a bit, appreciating the moment, I smiled as I thought back of that day,I looked into his eyes, I already missed him even thought I saw him last night, after the incident, I just didn't want to leave him, if I ever lost him...
I set my phone on the granite counter, putting a spoon full of cereal in my mouth.
************************************
I emerged from the taxi, catching the wind in my hair.
David had a puzzled expression on his face but didn't say a word.( As to where we were going.)
I closed the taxi door, entering the big city, the people crowded the street, the noise crowded your ears, people didn't pay attention to where they were walking but instead watched their phones, people bumped into others, not saying a word, the honking of the cars... how could you even hear your thoughts?!
I was truly not a city girl.
************************************
The screaming of fans crowded my ears, making screeching noises as it made it's way to my head.
We stood in line, waiting for our tickets to be checked.
I had told David to close his eyes but with all the screaming, I'm sure it wasn't helping.
The line got closer and closer, my excitement growing bigger and bigger!!

" Ticket!" the younger man commanded.
I handed him our tickets, he took them and examined them, he then opened the gate, letting us in.
I found our spot, leading David by the hand, making sure he didn't fall. I wondered what people thought about him, seeing as he had his eyes closed.
" Open them!" I squealed.
He opened his eyes, letting the green-blue, perfect eyes shine in the moon light.
" No?!" he half questioned and stated at the same time, extending on his words.
" Yesss!" I mocked him jokingly.
He brought me close and gave me a big hug, kissing me on the forehead. I smiled and hugged him back.
" Happy birthday David." I leaned into him.
We watched as the group started to walk on stage.
The screaming once again crowded my ears but this time it was louder.
I heard voices screaming any and every name of the members of band but almost all were for Chad.
I joined in and screamed at the top of my lungs.
David chuckled and held my side.
I stopped catching my breath, the group started to talk, I looked around, seeing the reactions of others. How did they do this? I mean how did the band deal with this almost every day, the screaming, the crying ( of joy) , and all the freaks, I mean how did they even talk or hear what they were saying?
I didn't mind though as I was to happy and excited to care. I saw at the corner of my eye, the guy I wanted to see the least at this point, the guy who almost ruined everything for me and David last night.
