"Omg! So, you're telling me that the Logan Miller is living with you? The one who's been in juvie twice, the guy who set his teachers car on fire at his last school, the-"
"Brooke, how do you know those are even true? It's just stupid gossip."
"Gossip has to start somewhere honey. Anyway he is one of the hottest guys in school! God damn you are so lucky!"
"You know i have a boyfriend and Logan and I hate each other."
"Whatever, but i might try to get a piece of that cake."
Your not his type, trust me.
"Go for it." I laughed.
We pulled into the school parking lot and i was immediately pulled into a kiss as i stepped out of the car.
"Morning, babe."
"Hey Blake."
He wrapped his arm around my shoulder and pulled me close.
"Blake, guess who Riley has staying at her house now!" Brooke said excitedly, but i could hear that snarky tone hidden.
"Who?"
"Logan Miller." Brooke crossed her arms and sent a glare in my direction.
Blake immediately pulled his arm away from me and looked me in the eyes.
"What! Why the hell is he there?"
Out of the corner of my eye i saw Brooke walking away with a satisfied look.
"Blake calm down."
His muscles were tense and his jaw was tightened.
"His mom is going away for a while, so my mom invited him to stay. It wasn't my choice."
"Wasn't you choice! You could've said something!"
"I didn't even find out till i walked in on him moving boxes into my house last night."
He fake laughed and turned away from me.
"Hey!" I grabbed his forearm and forced him to face me.
"You can't be mad at me for something i can't control!"
"Fuck this, go hang out with Logan. You guys will obviously be spending plenty of time together. Why not start now?"
He stormed off into the building, leaving me alone outside. I let out a sigh as i leaned up against Brookes car.
What just happened? Is he that insecure about losing me? Uhg, this isn't even my fault!
I lifted my head only to meet eyes with Logan. He was standing across the courtyard with a concerned expression on his face. I stood there for a second before wiping the single tear that slid down my cheek and walking into school to attend my first class.
Three days into school and it already sucks.
*******
I had tried multiple times over the course of the day to talk to Blake, but he didn't want to hear it. He didn't even show up to lunch! Leaving me alone yet again with only Carter to talk with. It didn't help that the whole way home that was all Brooke and Annabelle would talk about. Asking insensitive questions that they knew were bothering me.
Without saying goodbye, I exited her car and pretty much ran to my house, wanting to get as far away from them as i could.
Slamming the door shut and throwing my bag onto the kitchen table, I went straight for the fridge. My stomach grumbled with enthusiasm as I grabbed a cold piece of pizza. I settled myself comfortably on the couch and began flipping through channels.
