Picture of Carter on the side!!

************************************
"Hey Carter." I said as i walked into our last class of the day.

"Hey." He said quietly.

I took my seat next to him and pulled out my math worksheet. Seminar was always my favorite class because it was just dedicated to homework that we had in other classes. If we didn't have any, we didn't do anything.

"So, did you understand this homework? I'm having a little trouble grasping the concept."

He made a grunting noise to let me know he did.

So, i began explaining to him what i didn't understand, but after a while i realized he was not paying attention at all.

"So, yeah. That's the time i killed someone and sunk their body in the river." I finished.

I rolled my eyes at my failed attempt to grab his attention.

"Hello?" I snapped my fingers in front of his face.

He shook his head and then began flipping through his notes.

All day he has been avoiding conversations and eye contact with me and i was set on finding out why.

"Carter!"

He turned his head in my direction, but still wouldn't look me in the eyes.

"Look at me." I said sternly.

He slowly moved his eyes so they met mine.

"What is wrong with you today?"

"Nothing."

I gave him that look that made it clear i didn't believe him.

He sighed and looked at me with sorry eyes.

"I just have a lot on my mind right now. Can we just get back to work?"

Not wanting him to feel uncomfortable, i agreed and we went back to the homework.

By the end of class, Carter had been back to his usual funny self. I could tell he was still a bit distracted, but he was trying his best to help me.

"By the way, Blake wants to meet you behind the school."

"Why didn't he tell me himself?" I asked as I grabbed my stuff off the table.

He just shrugged and then hurried out of the room.

I went to my locker and grabbed my bag. Going the short way, i exited through the back doors. I already knew where to go because we meet behind the school all the time by a big oak tree that we liked to sit under.

As i rounded the corner i heard a man and womans voice. Realizing it was probably another couple in our spot, i leaned up against the wall to listen.

I soon noticed that the man's voice sounded an awful lot like Blake's and the woman's voice sounded familiar, but i couldn't figure it out.

I poked my head around the corner only to feel my heart sink when i saw Blake up against the school wall with Brooke draped over him. Her arms wrapped around his neck, his hands on her waist.

It wasn't until he leaned down and gave her a kiss with tongues in full view that i stepped out from behind the wall.

"You piece of shit!" i laughed dryly.

They both jumped away from each other and they looked as startled as me.

"Riley...." Blake said.
