| Signe's Pov |

The ginger was paying attention to the class for a change, perhaps because she didn't want to think about the previous day and how it ended for her friend Maddie. She still had a mother and an extremely caring and loving one, she did not only accept her daughter because her mother was bisexual, but because she was her own daughter something Maddie's father revealed to be incapable of doing. She couldn't imagine how it would feel to go home and tell her mother she was a lesbian if she was in Maddie's shoes, although she knew her mother would never have reacted like that man did. It broke her heart knowing her friend lost a parent to homophobia, another someone important to her life like Zoe her last best friend used to be. Signe's attention was stolen when she heard shouting coming from outside, she rose her head and glanced at the windows only to see a familiar boy standing outside. Blake. His phone was smashed on the floor due to being thrown and the boy seemed angry. No. Devastated. Blake was devastated about something that Signe didn't know what could be.

The bell rang, yet this time it indicated the classes were now over and that hell was paused for a few minutes. Signe packed her stuff in her backpack with swift moves in hopes to get to the blonde boy the fastest she could and try to help him and understand what was going on. When she left the classroom he was no longer outside but walking right past her in large angry steps, tears streaming down his face, pain visible on his blue eyes. The ginger called out his name, yet he didn't stop walking, instead, he began jogging distancing himself from her. That wasn't nearly enough to make her quit, she started running after him, but once he hid inside of the men bathroom she knew there was no way she could go inside. Fortunately, she knew someone who could.

She sped off through the hallways trying to recall the classroom Shawn had been in as she dodged the students minding their own business and pushed some of them away as gently as she could. Signe almost fell once due to some random guy who probably thought it would have been cool to make her fall on purpose by putting his foot in front of her. What an asshole she thought as she ran around, despair growing by the second until she stopped him. Shawn was leaving his classroom, her mouth pronounced his name loudly in hopes of being heard. He didn't, but other people did. Signe called him again and again until she observed him turning around, his eyes widening as she watched her getting closer. She stopped right in front of him and without taking a deep breath she said:

"Blake needs us! Come on we have to hurry!"The ginger grabbed his wrist without waiting for his reaction, pulling him to the right direction, forcing him to follow her. They made their way back to the men bathroom where now it was full of students trying to understand what was going on. Signe's heart raced at the thought of something could have happened to Blake during those few minutes she took to bring Shawn. A man stood at the entrance of the bathroom keeping the students away from whatever was happening inside.

"We are here. Please let us in and help him."She begged impatiently. Despite not knowing Blake very well, she still worried a lot about him, she would never think twice about helping Shawn's friends. The man glanced at them for a few seconds before letting them go inside only to find a puddle of blood on the floor near the blonde boy sitting on the floor, his back against the wall as he rocked himself back and forth. The mirrors of the bathroom were broken, pieces of glass scattered all over the place, some of them bloodied. Signe walked over to him, kneeled down carefully to not cut herself with the broken glass, Shawn right behind her.

"Blake? Blake are you okay?" She inquired softly as she tried to identify the source of the blood. It came from his arm, did he just cut himself? She glanced up to Shawn, her eyes widened in fear. "Shawn call 911!"

"Alright!" He sacked his phone from his pocket and typed the number with swift movements on his fingers and waited to be answered.

"Blake, talk to me. Did you do this?" Signe inquired as she pointed to his arm. She had to stanch the bleeding somehow, maybe she could use her shirt under her coat to stop it. The ginger took her coat and threw it to the sink while Shawn spoke to the person on the other side of the line. Signe took off her pastel green shirt revealing her pink bra underneath, she shivered with cold, her skin getting covered by goose bumps as she tried to stop Blake's bleeding with her shirt. "Blake?"
