There are approximately 20 to 30 million slaves in the world today. (https://www.dosomething.org/us/facts/11-facts-about-human-trafficking)

I really hope you guys took this story as an eye opener. It can happen anywhere at anytime. It can also be someone you know.

I'm not trying to scare you guys, I'm just trying to make you aware that the world isn't all sugar plums and rainbows. There are some seriously sick people out there guys. I've seen some graphic stuff but I'll spare you the details.

Now for questions! :D

Q: I thought this story was going to have a light theme? What happened to that! -_-

A: Sure it started off like that but I got bored. I think I've mentioned it before, I don't really like writing light themed story. It's just personally not my thing. I prefer much darker, more horrific stories. It would have been a little bit more graphic but I was trying so hard not to rate my story as Mature.

Q: What gave you inspirations for this story?

A: I honestly have no freaking clue. Working with cancer was probably the most difficult challenge for me because my family had no history of cancer. I really pray that it ended up good to you guys. I tried my best and really went out of my comfort zone. Oh my gosh, guys!!! The research was very brutal! I spent my nights researching from being diagnosed to chemotherapy.
Not easy guys...not easy

Q: Are you willing to remake the ending...but a happier version where Santiago isn't a bad guy?

A: Nah....I really don't like the idea of a happy ending. Maya's fate was death even before I started writing. Santiago was supposed to be good throughout the whole book but I honestly just got bored.
