Patterns on a wall
Patterns where there are none
Patterns in my head
Patterns where there are none
My face is a wall
Where they try to find
Patterns where there are none
I flow and flow and flow
And they cannot follow
Cannot understand
The indecipherable
Like patterns on a wall
I see them, but they're not there
Patterns in my head
Are there, but no one sees them
No one but me
Sometimes not even me
They tell me that's why I'm here
An ocean of thought in a cage
Because that ocean is naught
But patterns on a wall
That no one can read
Sometimes not even me.
