Second

Always been trying my best,

But here I am, left being the second best.

Been wanting to be on the first,

But I have been stuck here, not contented on my place.

Wanting so badly to be on that position,

Yet I'm left here being just an option.

I'm waiting to be on that place,

Yet there you are again, also on the race.

There you are loving the fame,

Though I'm here, drowning with all the pain.

I was once everybody's choice,

But when you came along, they left me without a voice.

All I want for now is to give up,

Yet nobody's there to cheer me up.

I feel so reckless and alone,

And all I want for now is to be gone for so long.

I tried to change my path,

But my plans always fall apart.

I have never been into a success,

And I know that will never be the best.

Always been a failure to everybody's eyes,

The words they say on my face has never been nice.

But I'm used to it,

Cause since then I had been living in a world full of shits.
