Frantically, I leep at a frightening speed.

Paying a more close attention to the eyes, I notice a blood red colour and a sharp glare. The eyes seem to gradually move closer, then to notice it must be coming towards me.

Running backwards, I stumble over items I'd thrown on the ground earlier, sending me tumbling to the ground.

I hit the floor with a thud.

"Lord, forgive me for my sins and save me at this moment!" I scream.

The eyes came close and closer, as this thing approaches my flailing body. It creeps out of the shadows; all I can make out is a human-like figure.

"It's only Erin; don't be afraid," It whispers.

"I should be, God knows what you can do."

"I am only here to protect you," she says calmly, "please don't be frightened."

Taking a sharp intake of air, I slowly force myself to a standing position.

Taking more notice, I focus on her features.

She's beautiful.

Long, straight, jet black hair falls just past her shoulders. Nose is slightly pointed and lips are pucked, coloured a slight purple shade.

A elegant dress hangs from her shoulders and clings closely to her waste.

Who knew ghosts could look this good?

"Please allow me to guide you Kacey."

"Okay Erin."

"I must leave now; I shall come tomorrow with something of interest to you."

"I shall be ready."

Erin then drifts off gently as if the wind is carrying her.

Then she sort of merges into the wall.

The tension starts to release from my shoulders as I fall in a slouched position.

Settling down on the bed I reach for a book I've been planning to read for a while.
