Treking faster than usual on the route to school, I grip my worn laptop like a Hawk grips its prey.

If I drop this I die; either from my mother or my third eye.

Seeing the school gates I pick up speed and check my black watch. Luckily, I'm ten minutes early, so I'll have chance to stop in and show Miss Shaile my discovery.

Practically running into the PSRE department, I knock on Miss Shaile's door.

No answer.

I knock again, much harder this time.

No answer.

"Is anyone in there?" I shout.

"Come in," calls a feeble voice.

Walking in I notice Miss Shaile cramming some papers in a draw.

"Sorry," she apologises, "the school make me keep this paperwork private."

"Don't worry," I say calmly, "I won't look."

"Can't risk it Kacey."

"Oh, well I found a website about the third eye."

"That's fab."

"Are you alright Miss?"

"Yes Kacey, just very stressed and busy."

"I'll go then."

"No Kacey wait plea-"

"It's fine," I interrupt.

Matching out of her classroom I listen to her call for me to come back.

Just ignore her.

I trudge towards the small wood on the edge of the school. We're not allowed to go there, but at this point i couldn't care less.

The branches seem to twist over each other, creating a canopy of dark green leaves. Light is very limited, so little vegetation seems to grow bellow. A few roots poke out of the ground, as if calling me to trip over them.

Searching for a place, I find a suitable position under a tree.

Placing myself down, I rest my head on the trunk and relax.

For about five seconds.

"Fancy seeing you here," says a voice.

Looking up, I'm not shocked by what I see.

Erin peers over me, with a disapproving look.

"You didn't obey me," she booms.

"You lied to me!"

"You believe her over me," she whispers in my ear, soft air brushing against my face causing me to shiver.

"Yes!"

"Somebody has made some terrible mistakes haven't they?"

"What do you mean?"

"You've lost two people in one day haven't you?"

"I haven't lost two people," I seeth,"just an evil demon pretending to be my friend."

"Oh dear, you're going to regret that."

Before I can reply she floats away, leaving me concerned.

I'll be okay...

Who am I kidding?

I literally have nobody on my side now, and it's all my own doing.

Not only that, but I have my stupid support group later. I bet if I told them this they'd put me in some sort of mental assylm.

I'm not crazy.

I'm just confused.

Maybe if I contact that girl she'll give me some sort of direction to shut my third eye.

There must be something more she'll know.

Getting up, I pat my backpack to make sure my computer is inside.

It's not there.

There is only one place it could be, and I defiantly don't want to go there.
