/ I'd rather jump in your bones (part2)

that's great J! Im going off of work early tonight so we can grocery shop in a bit. Im picking you up!

I read a message from Lily and I typed fast a reply. I was so happy and excited about how things are going. Before I put down my phone another message popped up on my screen

we'll be there. kudos x

I let out a dreamy sigh to myself. Sometimes he sends the shortest messages but it just uplifts me to the highest heavens. I cant wait for that barbeque, I cant wait to see all of them.

We finished groceries at around 5 in the afternoon. I messaged the lads before hand that we would start at around 7 on the roof deck. I hurried and almost tripped on our way upstairs. This is the first time Im hosting for them, imagine that? Hosting a barbeque for your favorite band..

I only imagined those kind of things before. Really corny stuff, cliche things that usually happen in movies and stories. But now, I was here inside the kitchen making barbeque sauce. I laugh at it, Lilian looking at me funny. I shook my head and continued to chop onions and garlic to put in the sauce.

Around six, we had the grill ready. It feels like I was back in America, in backyard grilling burgers and hotdogs with the family. Except I wasnt in Michigan, I was in roof deck with the cool wind and Lilian with me to help. The view of the city wasnt as awesome as the one on the roof of Matty's favorite building  but it was close.

We started with the kebabs and some corn, I even prepared some shrimp to grill. Trust me they taste amazing grilled! We heard some chattering by the stairs and the door opened revealing George and his girlfriend, who came up to me giving a quick hug. Then, Adam and Ross came by a few minutes later. They bought some of their own food to share, and it looked great.

I frowned when someone was either fashionably late or I dont know if he's still coming or not. But I continued grilling some kebabs for the new arrivals. Everyone was praising me and Lilian for the great food and I was so thankful. It was around 8 when Matty finally arrived, he was wearing that "lol ur not matt healy" shirts and he seemed to have trimmed his hair a bit. And of course he looked so cool entering last with a small paper bag on his hand.

"you're late mate!" Adam said giving him one of those man hugs you give to someone. He greeted everyone first, laughing and slapping backs of his band mates, shaking Wes' hand when Lily introduced them to each other. Then he turned to me, lastly. He smiled lightly and he handed me the small paper bag he was carrying.I eyed it suspiciously and took it from him "what's this?" and he shrugged before walking away to take his seat beside George.

Okay?

I opened the bag and inside was a picture frame. It was a frame out of dark wood carved like buildings, and it had glitters on some of the windows carved on it like lights. The picture was a picture of me, I was smiling and I was talking to someone with my camera on hand. I dont even remember when this was and I had to look at Matty. He was already looking at me and it gave me goosebumps. I muttered a thank you and he gave me those heart warming smiles.

The barbeque went well, George was itching to man the grill he literally grabbed the thongs and pushed me aside to show his grilling skills. I just let him, the man was obviously much taller than me. I was however so jealous of the lovers here with us. George and Jessie, Lilian and Wes. Adam was on the phone awhile ago with his girlfriend and Ross was smiling like crazy when he recieves a text from his. I chewed on the inside of my lip. I gotta admit, it kinda sucks being surrounded by them.

Someone nudged me and I was pulled back to reality. Matty was seated beside me now and he gave me a wink. Sassy. I smiled "hey you.." I said and he chuckled "like my gift?" he asks as he brushed his hair back. I cant help but stare when he does so and I nodded "its wonderful, and very sweet of you Matty." I told him and he smiled again "you're welcome"

"I was wondering tho, did you take that?" I ask and he shrugged "with my phone, I forgot to bring my own camera then.. so it was kinda low quality" he told me in reply. "It looked nice" I said and he smirked. "Im glad you appreciate it." he say. "you gave me so much things already and I havent gotten you any.." I frowned and he laughed. "oh, Jamie. you helped me with alot already, there's no need to give me anything" he said to me, his arms flinging over my shoulder.

He was so close to me, the same closeness when I hugged him. I could smell his musky scent and I smiled. He seemed to be unaware of it when he looked at me, his eyes dark and he opened his mouth to speak but closed it again. He took back his arm and scratched his neck, looking slightly embarrassed. "sorry.." he said "its okay" I blurt and I immediately regret saying that. "I mean.. Its cool" I stammered and he smiled.

"you like my arms around you huh?" he smiled at me and wiggled his eyebrows teasingly at me and I cant help but laugh at him. Silly boy. And silly me for having these feelings for him.
