Ch. 4 - Moving In

After sleeping on the bench for four hours without knowing, I woke up and sprinted all the way to Jung Sang University to check in. When I received my key to my dorm, I quickly went to my room. However, as I opened the door, I saw another person already inside the room. Although I was quite shocked, i greeted that person with a slight smile.

"Oh? Annyeonghaseyo, unnie. Are you supposed to be Park Seo Young?", she asked.

"Uh? Oh. Yes...Annyeonghaseyo..", I replied back awkwardly.

"So..I am Lee Ga Eul! I hope we can be friends~!!^^"

"Hehe. Yes..Same here...", I smiled as I entered the room.

While I was taking stuff out of my suitcase, Ga Eul suddenly grabbed something out.

"PLEASE GIVE THAT BACK!", I quickly pulled her arm.

"HAHA. You're quite funny, Seo Young.", she said while giving me a smirk.

"PLEASE! IM SERIOUS!", I cried desperately.

"Why should I? This is a pretty necklace! Can I keep it?"

"Sorry, but no." I said as I let go of her delicate arm. "This is my mom's necklace she gave me and it's kind of valuable to me..."

"Oh...I'm sorry. I didn't know. I shouldn't touch things that aren't mine."

"It's okay. You don't have to be sorry." I placed my hand on her shoulder.

"Well I'm going to sleep. Good night Seo Young unnie!!"

"Yes. You too, Ga Eul."

It was 11 PM right now and the night suddenly became warmer than it usually was back in Jeju. I felt more comfortable and relaxed. Many thoughts came to my head at the moment.

Ga Eul POV

Wow. Today was a thrill. I met my dorm partner and she was totally nice! I can't sleep anymore! All I want to do is wake her up and go somewhere nice together.

When I was little, I never had the experience of having a friend. I was too scared to go to school because I was afraid other kids would bully me, so my parents made me homeschooled. I wondered if Seo Young had a similar childhood like mine. Aigoo. Regardless, thanks to her, I feel like I can breathe again.
