Ch. 14 - In Your Heart

Sehun POV

As I waited for Seo Young in the cafeteria, I started to contemplate on our future...will I hurt her again? Will I leave her?

After waiting for a while, there was no sign of her anywhere. So, I stood up from my seat and went to go find her.

When I approached the room she was in with Ga Eul, before I opened the door, I heard through the cracks the sounds of crying and screaming.

I got scared and worried for Seo Young, knowing that Ga Eul caused all of this, so I opened the door, finding Ga Eul abusing Seo Young.

"Sehun." Seo Young said as she looked at me with her swollen, pitiful eyes. All I could do was just look at her face in pain.

She stormed out of the room, leaving Ga Eul on the floor. I stared at Ga Eul's face and scoffed at her.

"Did you really have to go this far?.."

"She ruined my life. She created a monster. IT'S ALL HER FAULT."

"You created a monster your own self...And that's why you're like this today." I left the room silently and ran after Seo Young.

Ga Eul POV

Right now, I don't know who to be angry at anymore. Why do I feel so mad at myself? I just want to rip my hair out.

All I want is Chanyeol. Does he know I did this? Does he still love Seo Young? Why does she have everything??

I then heard a knock on the door. "Can I come in?" It was Chanyeol's voice.

Not caring how I looked like in front of him, I opened the door and stared at him as tears fell down my face.

"Chanyeol."

"Why are you so stupid, Ga Eul...?" He started to cry and hugged me tightly.

"I know I'm stupid. That's why I did this. For you."

"Well, you don't have to do that anymore, with me by your side. Remember, I'm a happy virus, so don't be sad!"

"Can I ask you something Chanyeol?"

"What is it?"

"Is Seo Young still in your heart?.."

"..Well, a part of me is still missing her. But, we both let each other go...And now I'm here with my destined one."

He sighed. "That's the funny thing about life. You let people go, and it hurts you like a knife stabbing through your heart. But, in the end, you come to realize that all of this is for your own good."

"So what you're trying to say is that we need to be hurt before we experience the good in life?"

"Something like that." He smiled at me.

Sehun POV

As I entered the garden, I saw Seo Young sit on a bench alone. Walking up to her, I put out my hand in front of her face, holding a banana milk can.

"You okay, Seo Young?"

"I feel ashamed of myself looking at you. I want to be a good person...but it's so hard to do that. I want to impress you, but I can't."

"You don't need to impress me. Your presence is all I need. You haven't done any wrong, so stop blaming yourself."

"What is it like as an idol..?"

"What do you mean?"

"Like do you get hurt or bullied by the other members...or how does it feel being followed by a lot of girls everyday.?"

"Of course, just because I'm an idol doesn't mean I'm not human. We all need to get hurt at some point in life. That's how we succeed. It's like climbing up a mountain."

"I hurt you so much, yet you still love me. I don't deserve all this love."

"Shh. The more you underestimate and judge yourself, I get more hurt."

I kissed her on the forehead. Slowly. Gently. "Want to go somewhere?"

"...Where?"

I smiled at her brightly as I placed her hand on the right side of my chest.

"Inside my heart."

Wow what a chapter. Seems like everyone is reunited together. But, this is only the beginning of the story.
