Yesterday...

Yesterday had been... Maker forgive her! It had been heavenly.

Nothing was ever supposed to be as Divine as the Maker and his prophets but, Andraste bless her, there was something more blissful.

Cullen had come into their quarters, Leliana not far behind him. She did not bother to shut the door. Cassandra worried only that the cold would nip at the baby's skin and give her a cold. The child was gorgeous, perfect, flawless in every way. She had her mothers dark eyes and her fathers light, curly hair. She would be quite the beauty one day, even prettier than Nicolynn. Though, Maeve and Solas may disagree. Her smooth baby skin was just beginning to take on her mother's glowing olive tone and a stern facade. She was a quiet baby, though when taken from her parents she tends to wail. Cassandra would admit that though she adores the child with every fiber of her being, she was tired, exhausted, and just needed a moment for herself.

Cullen came to give that to her then. At first she thought perhaps he would just take the baby and sit with her cradled in his arms somewhere in Skyhold. But then he handed their sweet little one to Leliana. Cassandra didn't quite panic but she was alarmed at where the baby was being taken. Cullen quickly told her that Leliana was going to watch over the child for the rest of the night so that they could have some time to themselves.

Cassandra kissed her darling girl on the forehead and brushed her golden locks out of her face and the Nightingale took the baby back into Skyhold. Cassandra could not say that she was pleased with Cullen at that point. She wanted to spend as much time as possible with her children before Gilderoy came to take them from them. But then, the door shut, the curtains drawn, the light all but snuffed out, the mood in the room changed. Cullen came up behind her and his arms were around her waist. "I made you a promise, my dear." He whispered to her. Cassandra could not help but smile at this. She knew exactly what he meant and Maker she hoped he would make good on it.

"I told you as soon as our child was born, I would pin you to this bed, I would make you scream for me, I would make you writhe and shudder, beg for this." He muttered his words slowly in her ears and just at the sound, he had her squirming. The feeling of his body pressed against hers only made her more eager. She needed this. After months of not having this, after feeling giant and warm all the time, she feels a different kind of warmth in her loins and she can feel only the size of the friction between them.

He stripped her rather quickly and basked in the sight of her naked form, something he had not seen in many months. When he had taken all of her in, he did not hesitate in doing as he told her he would. He put her on the bed, wrapping her legs around him, running his hands through her hair, kissing her mouth more fierce, more wild than he had recently. She made swift work of his clothes and before he could take a breath they were both entirely nude. She laughed when his coarse stubble rubbed against her neck. And moaned when his hands found their rightful place at her breasts, caressing them tenderly but just rough enough to make her ark into him.

It was not long before he could contain himself no longer. With the first thrust, she screamed, shuddering around him. Cullen was alarmed only for a moment, thinking he had hurt her. Perhaps she was not fully healed or something was wrong. She assured him that was not the case. Morrigan had done an exceptional job in healing everything up down there. So well in fact that somethings from after Anthony's birth were even changed. Cullen could feel it as he started to move. They chuckled at one another when she explained this to him. The situation was... odd. He simply kissed her. Her arm wrapped around him, pulling him closer, forcing him deeper. She arched up into him and a breathy moan escaped her. Then he kept going, plunging in and out of her, his eyes keeping firmly, lustily on hers the entire time. They did not break this contact. It was like staring into the soul of the other person. His breath became hoarse, his movements uncontrolled.
