She approaches Nicolynn carefully, fully expecting to feel her fiery wrath.

She was sitting outside the rotunda, waiting for Anthony to come back down from the library, back from speaking with Mythalus.  He hadn't insisted that he go up privately and talk to him.

But Nicolynn didn't feel like speaking with her brother.  Not after the last time they spoke.  He'd suggested things that could save her, things that were technically impossible, things that could kill either one of them, things that could have harmed Anthony.  And that she would not allow.  The closer Camille gets to the elf though, the sweatier her hands become.

"Camille,"  Nicolynn notices her first.  Her smile is wide and it frightens Camille at first.  "Nicolynn, I, I wanted to, uh, um apologize."  Her nervousness is blatant.  Nicolynn only smiles like she knows exactly what Camille means to say.

"There's no need."  Nicolynn tells her, standing from her seat and walking about the hall beside the younger girl.  "Olive beat you to it anyway."  She chuckles.  "But really, there was never any necessity for either of you to apologize.  If I were set on keeping everything a secret, I wouldn't have spoken to your sister about my dilemma.  In fact, you telling Octavia may have saved me.  I've gotten to see Anthony once more.  If tomorrow brings what I fear it will, I will go peacefully.  And it will be because of you and your loose lips."  Nicolynn laughs at herself, looking happier than Camille can ever remember having seen her.

It makes her want to laugh to.  "You ought to talk to your twin though."  Nicolynn bumps her shoulder with a rise of her eyebrows.  "I do believe I heard some precarious noises about the halls recently.  She may have some news to share and being of Montilyet blood, I've no doubt it's eating her up not gossiping it away."  The elf teases as Camille's cheeks grow red.

Camille was relieved.  To know that Nicolynn was not mad at her or at Olive was settling.  A string tugged around her heart greater in strength than the one that begged her to see Olive.  It was one that drew her towards Octavia and as the two of them paced toward the entrance, She darted away to her lover's side.
