Ch14: A death and a dragon invasion

The picture above is what future Starlight looks like and the reason the outfit is similar is because Rogue would have wanted them to wear similar outfits and a lot of the other features will be explained in the chapter and I can't draw the mating mark on an actual fave for some reason and I'm also not that good at drawing scarfs or bows so lol.
Oh and quick warning there will be quite a bit of feels in this chapter.

Natsu's pov

"Fire dragon roar" I yelled sending a huge roar at the weirdo executioner but he bent it so that it missed. "You ok" Happy asked me while holding a stick. "I'm way to hungry for this" I replied getting really pissed off now.

"You want an execution then I'll give you one" I yelled before using my fire to get rid of the guards. "I'll burn every single one of you to a crisp" I added.

Lily told Happy and Carla to get out of here and tell the guild what's going on but that weirdo fish guy stopped them by using his gravity change magic. "Nobody's getting out of this castle you understand" he called but a huge shadow started climbing its way up his legs as well as the other soldiers legs as the weirdo looked down.

The shadow then started to climb further up them preventing them from moving, which dragged them down into it.

I was pulling on one soldiers face with my foot in another's face as the people that had been caught in the shadow were pulled down into the floor while they were yelling out stuff. "What the hell" I questioned watching the scene before me.

The shadow then expanded and got to 4 of the executioners before finally expanding to get the leader as all of them were dragged into the shadow.

The shadow then started to go back into the corridor "What the hell's going on here" I asked while watching the shadow go back up the hall.

That's when all of us noticed that there was someone inside the shadow. "Ok and who are you" I asked the smirking man in front of me.

"Shadows can reach beyond the present to both the past and the future and into the hearts of men" the person explained, walked forward as his footsteps echoed through the now empty hallway. "It seems we meet again Natsu Dragneel. I've travelled quite a way from the distant future, I am Rogue" they introduce

"No way, how can you be Rogue" I asked. "The same one from Sabertooth" Wendy added. "You came from the future too" Lucy asked. "So I'm not the only one" Future Lucy added.

"Why are you here" Happy asked. "You took out all of the royal soldiers, are you trying to help us" Loki added to Happy's question. "You seem pretty different then you were before" I pointed out while lifting my arm a little.

"So why did you come back, just what do you want" Carla asked. "All we want is to use the eclipse" Rogue answered. "But what's that gonna do" Lucy asked. "It could save us all if we tap into its hidden power" Rogue replied.

"As you know it can be used for time travel but it can also be used as an offensive weapon known as the eclipse cannon. That is the only chance you have of beating the 10,000 dragons" Rogue explained.

"So then its really possible, we can win" Future Lucy asked, shocked. "Well that sure makes things nice and simple, glad we've got you on our side" I cheered. "Aw yeah, lets go kill ourselves some dragons" Happy added. "Does this mean that everything is going to be ok" Wendy asked.

"Afraid not, you see we come from seven years into the future, a time where the world as you know it will have seceded to exist. The dragons will have destroyed everything and rule over the ashes." Rogue replied camly.

"Their gonna take over" I asked. "But what happened to the people who survived the attack" Wendy asked.

"In our time not even 10% of the human race remains further more our eclipse only has about a fracture of the power yours holds. Which means that this is humanities last chance. We stop them now or die" Rogue explained.
