Everyone was silent for a few seconds, then Party Poison spoke up.
“Wait, what?! Why?” he asked with a look in his eyes that said I was crazy.
“Because that’s the last thing they’re expecting us to do,” I answered. “What do you say, Blue Collar?”
Blue Collar smiled. “I think that that’s exactly what we should do. Let’s do something that is the least expected. Those BL/ind vegetables don’t know how to think outside the box, so we’ll have the upper hand.”
“I guess that makes sense,” Party Poison sighed. He was still staring at her.
Jet Star and Missile Kid noticed, too, and they both shot him weird looks. I just shrugged, and we got on with the planning.
A while later, I had to use the restroom. “I’ll be right back,” I promised.
“Where’s she going?” Missile Kid asked.
Jet Star grinned. “To ‘powder her nose’, duh.”
Missile Kid just looked even more confused. “What’s that?”
“Ugh….Just….Drop it, Missile Kid,” I rolled my eyes as I raced up the stairs. Doctor D. was sitting at the radio table that was pushed up against the far wall.
“Hey, Doctor D…Where’s the…Uh….Lou?” I asked.
Doctor D. laughed and turned to face me. “I’ll give you directions. Go outside. Then pick a rock, any rock.”
I shrugged. It didn’t really matter to me. That’s what I had mostly been doing the entire time I’d been on the run. I thought that since the shack was a building, it would have had some facilities, somewhere, but I guess not. I stepped outside and ran for about a minute until I reached a huge cluster of boulders a pretty good distance away from the shack.
After….yeah, I started walking back to Doctor D.’s. That’s when I heard a familiar high pitched scream. SHOW PONY! I sprinted at full speed towards the scream. I turned around the corner of the shack just as I heard Show yell, “Fun Ghoul! NO!”
I was suddenly punched in the gut and forced against the wall.

(Meanwhile….)
Party Poison’s P.O.V.
Massacre ran up the stairs and pulled the trap door shut behind her. When all was silent, I studied Blue Collar Doom more. Her eyes looked so welcome…So safe…So… Familiar.
“Take a picture, Party. Maybe it’ll last longer,” she smirked at me. My breath caught in my throat. I knew who she was.
(Flashback)
We were moving. Kobra Kid…-Well, back then he was called Mikey- and I watched with regret and broken hearts as our best friend, Selena, started crying.
“You guys can’t leave! Please!” she begged us, a stray tear making its way down her cheek.
“Don’t do this to us…You know we can’t handle your tears,” Mikey said with a pained expression.
“We’ll miss you. I promise. And we’ll come back, and take you with us someday. Right, Mikey?” I asked, turning to my little brother.
Mikey smiled and sniffled. “Right.” He was crying, too, but that was okay. I was on the verge of tears myself. We all went in for a big group hug.
“Don’t you worry your pretty purple eyes,” I smiled softly and sadly, “We’ll be back.”
After more tears and goodbyes, Mikey and I jumped into the beat up, run down, car that we call a vehicle, and our parents drove us away from her. Forever.
