All hell broke loose after I spoke. Ray gun blasts fell through the air like rain. Blue shouted, “This way!” and led Party, Fun Ghoul, and I up a flight of stairs. I was still carrying the black box of dynamite. We followed Blue through the second floor, and then on to the third floor. She stopped at the top of the stairs, and pressed herself against the wall. We did the same. Just around the corner, it led down into a hallway. There was footsteps coming down the hall, echoing off the white tiled floors and the smooth, marble walls.

“Mr. Korse?” a male’s voice bounced down the hall. The footsteps stopped.

“Yes?” answered the voice that I assumed to be this ‘Mr. Korse’ person.

“The Fabulous Killjoys and the others are here.”

I heard Mr. Korse give out a wheezing sound, like a laugh that wasn’t quite human. “Delightful. I’ll just kill all of them, then. Except for the girl who has the microchip we’re looking for. We’ll get her information, then kill her and her little boyfriend. It’s about time she came for him, too. It’s been what, three or four days, something like that? I was expecting her to come on the second day.”

I lit one stick of dynamite and stepped out form behind the wall.

“Three days, nine hours, seven minutes, and fifty seven seconds,” I growled. Korse looked to be about in his mid forties. He had no hair, and a few wrinkles. He was ever so pale, and was wearing some kind of weird, frilly-sleeved shirt. Korse reached for his ray gun. I threw the lit stick of dynamite at him and dove back behind the wall. I covered my head as the dynamite exploded, turning most of that hallway into rubble.

“Massacre, you and Blue Collar go find Fire Star. Fun Ghoul and I will hold off Korse. Hurry. Run! NOW!” Party helped us up and pushed us out into the hallway. We ran past Korse, who was just picking himself up out of the rubble. He made a move to go after us, but Fun Ghoul tackled him.

“Ghoul!” I turned around, but immediately rammed right into Party’s back. He had been standing behind me as I was running. Party turned his head to give me a worried look.

“You don’t know what Korse will do! Get out of here and find Fire Star now! If we’re not in the car when you get there, leave! GO!” Party pushed me down the hall. I ran and turned around the corner. Blue was waiting for me.

“He’s in one of these holding chambers! They’re soundproof, so we wouldn’t be able to hear him yelling.” Blue gestured to the five closed doors to the right of us in the hall. There was only one other door to our left, and it was open.

“Then we blow off every single one,” I smirked. I lit five sticks of dynamite and placed them by every door. Blue and I dove into the open room to our left. The explosion carried past the door. When it was over, we ran into the hall and checked every room. Lying on the ground in the last room, covered in dried blood and sweat, with his neon orange jacket, black The Beatles t-shirt, dark blue jeans, and black hiking boots, was Fire Star.

“MAZE!” Fire Star yelled, “NO!”

“Shh! We’re getting you outta here! Blue, meet Fire. Fire, Blue,” I introduced them as I shot off the (surprise surprise) white chains binding him to the wall.

Fire Star looked about in tears. “Maze, it’s a trap. They wanna take your Drac controlling microchip and they knew the Fabulous Killjoys would find you, that’s why they kidnapped me in that specific zone! They knew the killjoys would help you, and they figured they’d kill two birds with one stone by taking the microchip and killing all of us! You’ve gotta leave!”

Blue sighed. “Listen, kid. Just get up and GO! NOW! We knew the risks! Let’s just get away as fast as possible, alright?!” Fire nodded, obviously stricken by Blue’s intelligence, good looks, and bluntness. I almost laughed. But then I remembered that Mad Gear had dynamite, and it would be going off any minute now, causing the building to crumble to bits. I lit the rest of the dynamite in the box and kicked the box to the far side of the room.
