Fun Ghoul’s P.O.V.
After Blue scared the bandana kid shitless, we decided who would do the interrogating. By ‘we’, I mean Party Poison, Doctor D., Missile Kid, and I. Everyone was included on the list of interrogation, except for Massacre and Mad Gear.
Mad Gear wasn’t on the list because he would get way too worked up and just end up hurting the interrogation. Massacre wasn’t because I didn’t want her anywhere near that bastard who kicked her. I had only known her for about a day and a half, but I felt this connection….. Kind’ve like a brother-sister bond. And, as her newly self-appointed older brother, I had to keep her away from mean guys who kicked her in the face. Plus, I think he was checking out her butt earlier. And that just pisses me off.
She looks about 16, but she’s only 14. That means that creeps are going to be hitting on her. I saw the bandana kid checking out Blue Collar Doom, too, but I’m pretty sure Blue noticed. Massacre didn’t. Besides, Blue Collar is a full grown woman. And plus, she just scared the guy out of his wits. So, I don’t have to worry about Blue, because she can handle herself around some creeps. Massacre Maze, on the other hand, is completely clueless. And I don’t think she knows how to react to some random person’s attraction. This Fire Star guy probably has a crush on her, too. I don’t like him already….
A voice suddenly interrupted my thoughts. I looked down. Maze.
“Fun Ghoul. Are you even listening….?” Massacre asked, giving me a speculating look.
“Uh…I’m sorry…Er, what?” I was confused. I didn’t know what she had said before that.
Massacre just sighed and shook her head in annoyance. She looked pretty pissed. “I said, ‘Why can’t I interrogate the captives?’ I mean, I understand why Mad Gear can’t, but why can’t I?!”
“Because…Uh…” I inwardly panicked, thinking of a good enough reason for this. I didn’t want to let her know about the asshole checking her out. “Because I know what’s best for you. I’m your older brother now.” I offered up a joking grin. She just looked at me straight-faced. Massacre wasn’t going to take that story, I guess. “Because interrogations get extremely intense, and you don’t need to be in here to witness me and the rest of the guys behaving in ways that might scare you, or make you think less of us.”
She opened her mouth, to argue more, I believe; but Mad Gear came up behind her, wrapped his hand around her right arm, and dragged her away. “Let’s just go outside already. They don’t wanna hear it,” Mad Gear grumbled, obviously just as upset as Massacre was.
Massacre shot a glare at me as she was shoved through the sliding panel by Mad Gear. “Whatever!” she grumbled, and disappeared outside. Hmm…That was unlike her. Mad Gear flipped everyone off before following her, the panel sliding shut with a soft ‘clank’ behind him.
I turned to the two captives who hadn’t even woken up yet. I grabbed a canteen and poured it over the huge guy’s head. Jet Star slapped the other guy across the face a couple of times before he started to come to. When they were awake, Party Poison grilled them for the first question.
“Names. Now,” Party ordered, lifting up his ray gun.
The bastard who kicked Maze in the face, the apparent ‘leader’ of this little gang, shouted, “NO! Don’t tell them anything!”
The huge guy just sighed. “We’re done for anyways. Switchblade’s gonna be pissed that we’re not back yet!”
“Switchblade?” Show Pony asked.
The other guy shook his head. “Yeah, he used to be on the little girl’s gang, but he joined up with us.”
“You idiots! Stop giving them information!” the leader shouted at the both of them.
